I'm from the mid-west region and the three guys that were top 35 at cross last year are all coming back and had good track seasons. At cross Nats Kaul was 4th Sigl was 10th and Lorenzen was 32nd. They all also made it to nationals in track. Off the top of my head i believe kaul ran 14:22, sigl 14:27, and lorenzen 14:34. Butzler was also stellar all cross country but had a bad nationals. he has also been puttin up great times in track.

Hopefully with those guys the mid-west region can have some high placers this year at nationals.

Although they didn't make it nationals as a team last year, they had three guys in the top 45. If Colorado College gets two more decent runners I can see their team placing in the top five. If I was a freshman that is where I would want to be.

with that thought process, you've just added 250 out of the 310 DIII schools (all we need is two more...)

Just to let ya know "grif" is not Jessica Griffin (me) from NCC... theres been some confusion since I go by Grif and this person keeps talking about NCC... just wanted to clear that up

You are right. Only 5 other schools last year had at least 3 runners in the top 45. And none of them have Julian Boggs! ... is it too late to transfer there?

NCC will have depth issues...

NYU

Calvin

Haverford

I think that if you take Calvin's seniors out of last years nationals, and rescore with their returning 5, they still win. So maybe its possible they could beat NYU. Who knows- november is a long way off yet, and to say NYU can't be beat is pretty bold statement, especially considering this fact.

Trust me, there's no one at NYU who doesnt think Calvin is the team to beat, we got a long way to go, and alot of work ahead, and we know it. We plan to be ready for November, but its a long way with 168 days to go.... :-)
