Go start your crap on another thread.
Perhaps you can search the internet and find all the warnings for foods, walking down the street, flying and drinking coffee and put them in your own thread.
If you don't like peanut butter, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out of here
If it's the kind where the oil is separated, which as far as I know is the only kind you have to stir, you might want to try turning the jar upside down (with the lid on obviously), and letting it sit like that for a while. Usually makes it a little easier and less messy to stir. Good luck!
I'm having my PB&honey sandwiches tonight for a late snack (or second dinner, however you wanted to look at it)

Before I read this I thought it would probably refer to the claim some have made that certain kinds of peanuts (depending on how they're grown maybe?) harbor some carcinogen. I'm not sure how valid that is. But that link, on the other hand, is from a couple months ago and refers to a specific contamination problem. Sure, anything could kill you if it's contaminated. Remember that big spinach-e-coli problem? Anyway, wasn't the problem just with that brand - Peter Pan?
this thread insipred me so much that i had PBJ sandwiches for breakfast and lunch today
Aflatoxins is the carcinogen and it comes from a mold that can form while the peanuts are growing. I just read some stuff on it and there seems to be a consensus that thes aflatoxins are monitored in most countries to be at "safe levels."
be honest, who else on here has ordered a PBJ sandwich at a restaraunt off the kids menu. i know i'm not the only one
I'm guessing THE CLASSIC MIDDLE CLASS PB&J is untoasted Wonder Bread with Skippy Smooth and Welchs' Concord Grape Jelly with butter on both slices.
Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup, a PB&J Classic and a pear. Nabisco Oysterettes in the soup a plus!!
Potato chips on tuna salad not PB IMHO Utz Salt&Pepper
No PB and raisin fans? Ants on a Log celery sticks with PB and raisins
PB and toast for breakfast this morning and PB and honey sandwich is coming up for lunch soon. I've been eating Justin's natural peanut butter, which I think is a local brand around Boulder. It's pretty good stuff. The only problem I have with it is the name. It's Justin's Nut Butter. Nut butter has a meaning that I prefer to not be spreading on my toast.
My wife has occasionally spoiled us with almond butter. It's really good, but expensive.
Does anyone grind their own peanut butter at the store? The store by us has a grinder, but I couldn't find any containers. How does the freshly ground stuff compare?
My favorite natural peanut butter is Naturally More. It has flaxseed, flaxseed oil, and egg protein added.

I also love the peaunt butter flavored Nature Valley bars.
I grind my own at a local GNC. The peanuts are unsalted so you have to add that. But it tastes quite delicious. Make sure the peanuts are fresh. They usually have some peanut butter pre-made ready for purchase but I always ask to grind a fresh container.
A previous poster mentioned PB and bacon. So Good! Make sure the bacon is very crispy. You can buy the precooked crumbles and sprinkle it on the peanut butter. And another one that may sound odd but is very tasty: Peanut butter and marshmallow fluff. Not too much fluff because it's very sweet. But the salty peanut butter and the sweet fluff make a great combination.
Had PB&J for lunch today.
But, if you want to try something different that is REALLY good, try this -- Peanut Butter and Radish sandwiches. I'm not kidding. Best if the radishes are cool right out of the refrigerator. Slice them to your liking and then make the sandwich. The radishes add a cool crunchy and slightly spicy contrast to the peanut butter that is awesome.

I like to smear peanut butter on the Nature Valley bars!
This is a good thread. Getting ideas of new combinations to try with the peanut butter. I'll try the radish combo when I'm feeling adventurous.
Today's lunch included:
Nice fresh wheat bread with a generous helping of JIF creamy peanut butter and a little bit more than healthy amount of Welch's Strawberry Spread.
I usally get in a 10 miler in the morning before work with only a small breakfast so by lunch time I'm pretty hungary. Man did that PB&J hit the spot!
For a nice salad dressing over endive, radish, scallions try PB,lemonjuice honey and some dried red pepper flakes. might haver to add a drop or 3 of white wine to loosen it, water works too.
Man, that sounds good. Is that Thai?
Peanut butter on baked potato. Try it. Your face will explode after tasting the deliciousness.
This thread is turning into the Peanut Butter thread... Poor jelly.
I'm okay with it though, if PB brings us closer together, then so be it.
What's the best way to make a standard PB&J more substantial - I have a big appetite. I guess the answer to that question is pretty obvious: crunchy pb with thick bread.
Anyone else use those Wonder Bread sandwich containers? I use mine everyday. The other day somebody at work ridiculed me for carrying it around and I snapped back, "you shut your mouth when you're talking to me." It was a knee-jerk reaction...
High five, I like you guys!
Peanut Butter sandwich with nacho cheese doritos in the middle. Totally delicious, I'm not kidding.
I just had a cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and bacon strips, with some onion rings, and I just dripped ketchup on my pants.
Tomorrow, I'm going with the PB&J. I have some Marionberry jam I got from Eugene two weeks ago. Am I the only one to find it interesting to eat jam that shares its' name with the mayor of DC?
