First of all, the NCAA only breaks ties in XC at the Regional meets, and then only if the tie determines who gets qualifying spots. KU and UT would have been listed as tied for 2nd.

Secondly, when the NCAA does break ties, its procedure is as follows (quoted from Championship manual):

IF a tie was to be broken at Big XII, and IF the Big XII was to use the NCAA's tie-breaking procedure, than KU would have been 2nd, as their 1, 2, and 3 runners defeated their counterparts for UT.

Joe Gray was pushed by another runner and was forced to cut the course two years ago.

I was told another coach made the protest.

When you run 7000 meters with a broken nose and finish 9th in the Conference you can say what you want. Until then...

the interesting thing is that the course was cut near the 4 mile mark...the closest K-State runner was in 46th place. He must have really died in that last mile.

Or perhaps the closest Wildcat could have been in third? Either that, or the one in 46th at the 4 mile mark had an unbelievable kick. Point: I agree that the wildcat didn't push him off course, but you're still an idiot.

Haha, sorry. Usually when people state something as a fact, I believe they mean it that way. I'll start looking for hidden assumptions and alternate meaning in everything people say as fact.

Ger Ovr Hur u are wrong, the guy with the name i know more was correct in every way, i never said a guy pushed me off the course was the reason, i thought i was dq'ed for something that happened earlier and shared that with people, however yes i did cut the course, should i have been dq'ed is up for debate which i dont care to take part in. I was running and i kinda got blocked in, by the way it was a right turn for all the smart asses who were "there", so i turned at the tree. Everyone who ran the course knows it was a shitty course, people were cutting that same tree all race, nobody can deny that, its on tape, people were cutting the course in other parts of the course as well, did they get dq'ed? NO. For the guy who said he was behind me, how the hell do u get a right turn confused with a left, dont make shit up online, not cool...

It is pretty cheap that the OK State guy and the Colorado guy were cool with each other yet it was Texas who filed the protest. So now they move into 2nd and not tied for 2nd. Typical Horns!

When was it said that Texas filed the protest? That is the first mention of it the entire time so odds are you are lying just to make them look bad. Either way, Texas would have finished second. I don't think either is better than the other.

First of all, I could barely read your message. Looks like you should spend more time running and going to school, and less time smack talking.

Secondly, you missed my point. The, "Everyone else did it, but they didn't get into trouble..." agrument is incredibly weak, and is not an excuse.

Next, you handled the situation poorly. Tactless and immature. Much like you're handling this by calling me a "Bitch" and saying that I envy you.

It's interesting that OSU has ONLY distance runners, therefore they have 12 scholarships to use for distance runners. On top of this, it is fairly easy to get out-of-state tuition waived by your ACT score, AND they can give you a scholarship percentage based on out-of-state, even if you qualify for in-state. Now tell me what other team in the nation has this kind of set-up? It's amazing OSU does not have the top team in the nation year after year. Shoot, at least they could recruit non-hoodlums.

Finally, yes you were ahead of me, and yes you have beat me everytime we have raced. Yes you are fast, but this has nothing to do with cutting the course and threating physical violence.

I have nothing against OSU on a whole, it's sad that people like you and your teammate reflect poorly on your team.
