Actually, ElG had more than one sub-par performance, based on third party expectations, during the period that lead up to the most successful races and victories of his career. Those races prepared him to race at his best.
And that Webb ran 27:37 is never a bad thing, that someone said that is a mistake is ridiculous, IT'S twenty freaking seven thirty freaking seven!!!! His injury issue is obviously something they think they can work through. Every body who is anybody works through niggles.
You can train and race in fear, or you can get over it and race your best.
Webb and his team have made nearly all the right moves, quit judging the kid by the bumps in the road with 20-20 hindsight. I think he has brass ones.
