Inflation was at 1.4% when Trump handed it off to Biden. Under Biden it went above 9%.
Why would you downvote that? Those are facts. You always downvote facts?
People downvote it because it was post Covid after a period of global economic contraction and they're not morons. Context.
Globally, the US weathered inflation better than the vast, vast majority of countries. This is also a fact. Do you downvote facts?
People are delusional if they think Trump would have somehow waved a magic wand and made inflation not happen and that it would have felt meaningfully different.
History will see that Biden handled inflation fine. But the factor of the matter is, under him, everything got 10% more expensive for a couple of years over and the "win" was inflation went back to normal, where things get expensive only 3% faster. No matter who is in office, they're gonna pay a price for that. Life got worse.
Dems next time around will be in the favorable position of pretending the President actually has much control over these things and getting to point the finger at everything that is bad under Trump.
Trump lost in 2020 because of Covid. Covid wasn't his fault, but he paid the price. That's a fact, too, Jack. Easier in politics to play offense.
It’s not her job and she has no power to implement anything. There are mayors, city councils, the governor and state legislatures. Do you think Pelosi governs San Francisco? Do House members from wealthy districts deserve praise?
Can AOC NOT organize efforts to clean up her district? If you are a Congressperson and your district is a sh*thole, would you not want to clean it up? I would be embarrassed to have my home district stocked with hookers, homeless and drug users. Every weekend I would organize large-scale efforts for volunteers to clean up the crap. Provide water and pizza and maybe even gift cards. Is it that hard? She can't do that? Is she impotent?
No, she can’t. Do you expect her, in her free time, to put up a cleanup proposal, prepare a budget and get it approved?
Do the leaders in her district, even like her? I’m thinking if she put her nose in other peoples’ business in her district, she would be as welcome as a turd in a punch bowl.

Here home district is a sh*thole. She doesn't need a budget or an approval of her budget. She puts out some fliers and say," hey come this weekend and we can clean up some of the mess." She can't do that? Oh - she is too uppity for that? She would instead want to have brunch at the Four Season Manhattan? got it!
Dems shouldn't get a candidate. They are exposed for their 12 million imaginary votes in 2020 and should be DQd.
Don't claim on a running board that a cheater shouldn't be banned. That 81 million was oozing from the gills
Dems right now have 69 million votes. 9% of votes still haven't been counted. This means they are likely to get about 75 million votes when all is said and done. Trump will have about 80 million. Basically, Trump will have about as many votes as Biden had, and Harris will have about as many votes as Trump did.
Why? Because they lost the election and people didn't like them as much as last time. And fewer people voted because a lack of enthusiasm and because it wasn't as easy to vote early.
None of this is evidence of cheating unless you are a mathematically illiterate moron.
There are plenty of Democrat governors who can do the job.
Andy Beshear (KY)
Jared Polis (CO)
Katie Hobbs (AZ)
Roy Cooper (NC)
Wes Moore (MD)
and a few senators and former senators; Chris Van Hollen, Sherrod Brown (he's out of a job, so he's got some free time on his hands), John Hickenlooper.
I didn't mention any women, not because they aren't qualified, but because the democrats won't run another woman for president for at least 30 years.

A lot depends on how the next 4 years go. If the economy looks great, interest rates are low, etc, it will be a tough task. I think any Dem who at one point was against a border wall, trumpeted BLM, antifa riots, and any part of the LGBTQ agenda, will be a poor candidate. People use the phrase "moderate Democrat", but there really isn't such a thing at the moment.
If things go well the next four years, it will be tough to beat Republicans again. If Trump rules like a tyrant and fool, then I think the pendulum swings hard back to the left like it did in 2020.
