i made it already, it's called "2014 sub 26 8k" or something
I can't find it reed, can you post a link?
Hey guys, just wanted some input from you all. Last summer i ran a 26:22 for the 8k and only ran about 35-45 mpw for the summer...This summer i'm about to hit 75 mpw this week. How much do you think my 8k will improve? (I'm more of an endurance runner)

this thread has been ditched, we now post here: (seldomly)
http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=6569815to answer your question, there's no way to know. you basically just gave minimal info so there's nothing to base a guess from.
need: progression for other seasons (in addition to mileage for each season)
any recent workouts
I was an undertrained high school runner who did about 40 mpw in xc (17:00 5k pr in HS) and 30 mpw in track (9:58 2 mile PR in HS). Then going into my first year of college i did about 35-45 mpw for training with no speed, just running. At school they bumped me up to 50 and then slowly to 70 where i ran a 26:22 early on in the season. That spring i ran a 15:47 in the 5k which showed me that the higher mileage was good for me. This summer i have done just base running and have built up to 75 mpw and I'm hoping for a big PR because of the summer base. Thoughts? More info?
TryHardGoFar,
I didn't even notice you tried out my workout. Good on you! Definitely touch base with me if you ever want advice.
Keep up the good fight.

there's somethign wrong with you if you could only run ~17 for 5k and a 75 half. maybe the half was short.
read my post above.
Haha yeah that’s like basically the same pace
