No deeper meaning. Hussman’s view remains much the same, valuations matter, the rest is a side show. And, instability in the market remains, which you can see outside of mega cap growth stocks. Latest virus mutation shakes an already unstable market.

Everybody knows that unless this variant was even more deadly than delta/original, nobody wants more lockdowns. Notice how everywhere in the US, whether it's liberal or conservative, people don't care as much.

There’s some truth to saying that many people are not so worried about Covid ass they are worried about what governments will do about covid. And I think over 50% of that worry is school closings. Government will have a hard time keeping schools open if teachers unions say they want schools closed.
They certainly weren’t worried about the variant at the Michigan versus Ohio State game.

Well it is like criticizing Hussman or Grantham for being wrong the last five years while giving Wall Street a pass on the Tech and Housing bubbles, and the Fed for causing both. Really just a point of view, which in mine Wall Street and the Fed have done far more damage to investors. This cycle is just at the top with the reckoning to follow.
