The only expulsion going on is by the Republicans. Both parties have bad apples but Republicans rightfully kick them to the curb but Dems always circle the horses.

He is right about all these things: 1) BOTH Trump and Biden are too old to be running in 2024.
2) He is baffled that voters still support a guy (Trump) who has 91 criminal charges against him.
3) He would NOT sign a national 6-week abortion ban. He said conservatives fought to send this issue to the states and he "trusts" the people. Good for him.
Chris Christie is a reasonable conservative, and Republicans should flock to support him. If Christie were the Republican nominee running against Biden, and Biden shows even more age-related decline by November 2024, I could actually vote for Christie. Would be a tough call, and I'd have to hear more about what he might do ion office, but I'd definitely be open to it. The benefits would be that that GOP was finally headed by a guy who wasn't out of his mind, and this nation benefits from two strong parties, not one strong party and one that is out of its mind (the GOP is currently out of its mind). If the choice is Trump vs. Biden though, I'll vote for Biden even if he's on his death bed.
Yes he is not crazy and two not crazy political parties would be good for the country. But Christie has two big marks against him.
(1) I can't not remember him shamefully standing behind Trump during that period where he was so obsequies and doglike to his master Trump
(2). And his underhanded behavior shutting down that bridge.
( I no longer trust republicans and he isn't the leader to change the party)
Fair points, but that just shows how nutso the GOP has become that Christie is a reasonable choice.

"Chris Christie is a reasonable conservative, and Republicans should flock to support him."
Translated: Chris Christie is an anti-Trumper so we Libs will support him no matter what ... just as we did with Mitt Romney, Liz Cheney and Mary Trump.
We hated them just 8 years ago but now that they are publicly hating on Trump, we have welcomed them back to our circle of trust.
Well, M*A*G*A is poison, so yes, he's an anti-Trumper, so that's a good thing. DeSantis is also an anti-Trumper, but he has autocratic tendencies, so he would NOT be good. Also, Christie said reasonable things about abortion and trusting the American people with their vote, and that is refreshing coming from the GOP. Christie was wrong to support Trump at any time, but he has owned up and repented. While I am no longer religious, I DO believe that forgiveness is a good thing that is taught in most relgions, and I am willing to forgive Christie, because while it DOES benefit him to try to separate from Trump now, I do believe he is sincere in his disgust for what Trump has done.
Donald Trump is pure evil, and anyone who is against pure evil is good.

This is hilarious. Currently the GOP is circling the horses around Trump. Could you be more hypocritical?
Al Franken was born in NYC and lived there almost all of his life as well before pretending to be a Minnesotan.
His expulsion from the senate was idiotic but if you want to be in the cancel culture party you're going to have to expect to be cancelled for stupid reasons.

What books have the Dems banned?
What books have Republicans banned?
Not allowing a book in a public school library is not "banning" books. Parents can still get any of these "banned" books they like and give them to their kids at home.
Meanwhile, the left tries to have books removed from public circulation so no one can access the book anywhere.
Abigail Shrier's book “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters" has the ACLU actively trying to have it burned. It's a book arguing against the sexual mutilation of MINORS and the ACLU says, "Stopping the circulation of this book and these ideas is 100% a hill I will die on.”
Conservatives don't want critical race theory in public school libraries.
Liberals want to ban Mark Twain and "To Kill a Mockingbird"
Are you aware that your words here ^ are exactly what has been repeated all over the world, for centuries, every time a nation has fallen into dictatorship?
Do you have any idea how incredibly nasty dictatorships invariably end up being?
You are praying for hell here.
The Roman Republic lost "democracy" and they still had almost 500 glorious years of the Roman Empire after that
What you mean is that they remained a powerful nation. That is not the issue.
China is a powerful nation. The USSR was a powerful nation. Nazi Germany was a powerful nation.
Dictatorships can remain powerful nations. They cannot remain decent places to live.
Try speaking your mind in a dictatorship when you disagree with the dictator. How anyone would be willing to give up such a basic right is incomprehensible to me.

Expelling Santos was a bit self serving particularly for republicans from reasonable districts.
(1) As stated (or implied) having Santos in the house would damage republicans up for reelection in 2024 in reasonable districts. He and his very high profile just adds to the branding of house republicans as crazy and dishonest.
(2) He wasn't going to run for reelection anyway.
(3) After selling their souls to the orange Jesus and playing along with the big lie that has damaged this country so much, maybe doing something decent was an attempt to assuage some of the guilt they might have for past marked ethical failings. (Not sure about #3, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume some residual conscience still resides in them)
