Naturally, being a Democrat, he was offered immunity despite being every bit as filthy as Manafort. Nothing to do with Russian collusion or the 2016 election.
Manafort's right hand man Konstantin Kilimnik was charged for lying to the inquisition. Nothing to do with Russian collusion.
Republican lobbyist Sam Patten was charged with failing to register as a foreign agent when he lobbied on Ukraine's behalf. Nothing to do with Russian collusion.
Rick Gates was charged with being a financial criminal with Paul Manafort. Nothing to do with Russian collusion.
George Papadopoulos was convicted of lying to the inquisition.
Michael Flynn was framed and convicted of lying to the inquisition.
The only collusion with Russia that occurred in 2016 was the Clinton campaign paying for Russian disinformation in the Steele dossier and then mobilizing the entire western media to run with the bogus story despite everyone alive with an IQ over 65 knowing it was complete and utter BS.
A word of advice when defending Trump against this indictment. Don’t mention the Michael Cohen conviction and jail time.
Actually when Clinton paid for the fake Russian file, she booked it as legal. She was fined $50k and it was reclassified as campaign. What trump did was far less, he paid back his lawyer for paying someone to not embarrass his wife. Perfectly legal, that’s why there were no federal charges. This is election interference.
