And before you whine or call it retaliaton, Democrats have weaponized the government against conservative groups / Republicans. Now that the shoe is on the other foot they whine. I don't care!
I'm not at the point where those orgs will back mass arrests of Dems. I do think millions of magas across the country would be fine with death squads though.
DHS is already doing kidnapping. And there’s nothing that Kristi would do that Petey and a number of other boot lickers wouldn’t.
And do I put secret death squads past any them….?
It is completely possible that no authority in Trump’s government is willing to commit murder in the US.
But imagine if there was? How comfortable that person could be in assuming that a pre-emptive pardon is probably coming their way within the next 3 years? (even if it isn’t).
Ok I see your distinction between death camps and general imprisonment.
But I don't see the Republicans sponsoring mass incarceration like Dachau.
I do think the Republicans will look the other way if Trump arrests a few leaders of the Dem party and probably some journalists and continues to sue people and things.
But we've seen how trump prefers to operate, with his multiple extortions of companies and universities, threats against the media and a few key arrests. Rs are fine with that kind of Orbanism and like to see the uppity city folk bend the knee to the country folk. And of course they know that the Pig's actions may help elect more Rs.
I have no problem with taxing colleges more / targeting certain ones. Did you see that less woke colleges - even top ones - have been (mostly) spared? Colleges have been leftist breeding grounds and Trump is punishing them for that.
You have no problem with the federal government extorting and severely punishing our finest universities to punish what Piggie thinks are their politics. Research down the drain.
Ok, noted.
Why don't people like you move to Hungary or Russia? I don't get it. Why stay?

Not at all. Conservative thought was targeted. Even non-conservative but non-woke thought was penalized. Case in point: Roland Fryer being targeted by Claudine Gay - ever heard of her? - for thoughtcrime.
turning a maga podcaster into the new Jesus Christ who died for our sins.
Here's what I think: No American who supports trump and his lawless, insurrectionist, anti-constitutional, murderous, anti-republican administration should be awarded anything but condemnation from congress.

I understand. You want the federal government to use its iron fist to punish universities it disagrees with politically.
Stop sugarcoating it. That's what you want. You loathe 1A and want it abolished. You don't believe in it, you don't think it's valid, you think it's nonsense.

Yes. The non Jewish Harvard president driven out of her office after less than a year by Bill Ackman and other donors.

any murder would be committed in a state and therefore states would take over the prosecution, far from piggie's pardon bloodbath.

massive inexcusable plagiarism did the firing
can't have a U president who is guilty of shameless plagiarism.
"Harvard economist Roland Fryer, for example, has published more in a single year than Ms. Gay has in her entire career. But while serving as the dean of faculty, Ms. Gay led the charge to strip Mr. Fryer of almost all of his academic privileges on trumped-up charges of having run an office with a hostile work environment. As documentary filmmaker Rob Muntz put it, “Fryer was the victim of a coordinated professional assassination. And … the chief architect of that assassination was none other than Claudine Gay.”"

look, i think me too has gone way too far in many instances, but the guy was a repeat offender. And he still has his job at Harvard and is in fact one of the highest paid people on Harvard's faculty. Dude makes $600,000. Is this the best you can do??
Roland Gerhard Fryer Jr. (born June 4, 1977) is an American economist and professor at Harvard University. Fryer joined the faculty of Harvard University and rapidly rose through the academic ranks; in 2007, at age 30, he bec...

There have been Democrat abuses of power. They’ve been wrong. Many of the “weaponized the government” statements are overstatements made by partisan hacks to dupe the masses and excuse their own wrongdoing (charges parroted by the dupes). Example: Obama’s tax targeting. Example: The Bragg case against DJT. Prosecutorial overreach. And so his supporters use that case to paint other case against him. Do not forget the way they want to have their cake and eat it too: Why did any number of Republicans say they wouldn’t vote to impeach over J6? He’s heading out of office and no longer the president, so impeachment is not the correct means of addressing this. What is the correct means? Well, the Republican leader in the senate said that such matters should be addressed by the court system. OK. So the guy should face investigation and then indictment/prosecution if there’s credible evidence that he committed crimes (and you can tell Mr. McConnell, if you like, that he committed no crimes about J6)? OK. So then prosecutors do that, just as he acknowledged would be reasonable. The outcry from DJT’s supporters? Lawfare! Weaponizing the justice department! How many of the indignant supporters of justice had been giddy years before over chants of “lock her up”? There was plenty of fumbling by prosecutors, who too frequently forgot that — not only for political purposes, but for the more important purpose of precedent and earning the trust of the citizenry — they needed to work hard day in and day out to be above reproach. Too many mistakes there. Yet the current targeting of Comey by the current administration makes some of those cases look like law school seminars on proper conduct.
The correction to wrongdoing is direct punishment of wrongdoing, doing the right thing, and demanding that others do the right thing. And to continue clear punishment of wrongdoing, whether the perps are on your “side” or not. And to demand that all do the right thing, whether they’re on your “side” or not.
Otherwise, it’s little more than mutually assured destruction (without the deterrent effect implied by the term).
There’s a long history of people who use the justification “well, they did it too” or “you just know the other guys would do it, but be worse.” Two very common companions to that line of thinking are extended misery and a growing body count.

Telling: What’s the first thing one might be able to come up with detail the manner in which he considers Mr. Kirk “a great guy”? ”He was for me all the way.”
He is constitutionally incapable of not making something about himself.

it's worse than that...he is openly saying the US Constitution and it Bill of Rights are irrelevant and the president has the ability and responsibility to use the federal government to punish speech it disagrees with. Directly contradicting the First Amendment.

Astounding stuff.
The founders recognized that if you win a landslide of an election by 1-2% then you are free to disregard any part of the constitution you find restrictive or inconvenient.
They just forgot to put that part down in writing.
