Meanwhile Austin sketcho needs to get DQ'd- can anyone confirm whether there is a Rossi mat at the actual turnaround point (~20 miles) at the Philadelphia Marathon. Can probably get a DQ anyway but this would seal the deal.
Maybe someone should email him and give him 72 hours to DQ himself first.

I'm so curious to see what becomes of this.
Some years back there was a couple of kids in Iceland I think who said they got three holes in one on a golf round. The news went around the world. Turns out they made it up. They knew a hole in one was good, but they had no idea it was so rare and such a big deal.
We see that all the time with running times from nonrunners or inexperienced runners - someone makes up a time they think sounds good without knowing how good it is. Like AV, the mile record is well under 4 minutes, so I'll say I ran 4:15 to sound impressive. Not knowing that's very rare and it's impossible for him. I can't count how many times I've heard people make up ridiculous times because they sounded good and didn't realize how ridiculous it is.
But the really curious cases are those like Brian Lawlor, who is actually an experienced runner but makes up outrageous times.
This one I still don't know what the game is here. Hoax, delusion, real? I don't know.

I just ran a search in a subscription "people finder" database - searched for a J or Jill Greathouse.... found 21 females nationally- none seemed to match her PA criteria. That said, Jill could be a middle name, and/or perhaps she still uses a maiden name professionally or a myriad of other challenges. We just don't have enough identifying information to really confirm or deny her existence.
The Philadelphia marathon seems lukewarm about DQing its cheats, as discussed in this blog post:

I also contacted them about a serial course cutter even more obvious than this once and got no response.
Good luck getting them to even acknowledge this guy. It might be a first if they do.

I used to cycle quite a bit a few years ago. I had an overweight, pot smoking cousin claim he would ride his 45 pound Wal-Mart mountain bike at 30-40 mph on the flats. Needless to say, people are stupid and usually have no clue what they are talking about.
