Is the course at St. Olaf fast, slow, or neither? Can anyone give any specifics?

The course has slightly changed, but i'd say for the better.
5 days till we see what SIGL does to everyone at nats. Erichson is 2nd i think
i would call it a true course but leaning easy
I would count Butzler out. It looked to me like he was just chilling to qualify at the midwest regional. Anyone else catch that?
Jordahl
lol, "that plattsburgh kid", "that hamilton kid". I'm glad to see he respects his competitors that are better than him. He failed to mention that Plattsburgh kid beat him the next year when Hany deproved. Those are two guys who can kick his ass in a race. Hany can't put down a pace fast enough for 8km to crack Peter Kosgei, he talks about 4:40 for 8km. good luck running 23:10 numb nuts. Is this guy for real? I hope Cortland and Calvin kick their and his cocky asses all over St. Olaf. Hany is why NYU is hated so much across the region, get rid of Hany and they may be respected.

i think hany just topped ryan hall as my favorite member of the running community
if this interview was meant to redeem hany's social graces, it failed miserably.
I should also add that he should go over his GRE vocabulary a little bit more, and take a Logic course.
I would not consider getting a philosophy PhD to be a realistic "med school back-up plan" just yet.

I thought you were supposed to be smart to get into NYU, or med school for example. This kid sounds like a complete idiot.
Kosgei will win by 30 seconds doing cartwheels. This kid is not even human.
Does Hany really think that being a douchebag and playing dirty could elevate the sport to national prominence? DIII cross country?? Listen man, you're just another asshole in a lower tier of a sport that nobody cares about but us. The only people you can possibly impress are the people in this small community, and being an ignorant shithead in Trackshark interviews is not the way to do it. Here's a thought: actually win that individual national title. Then you won't have to come up with excuses (like you did for Regionals) or throw up smokescreens (like your dissertation on the mentality of American sports). You might force some people to talk about something other than how stupid you sound forgetting the names of a 4:06 miler and an 8:55 steeplechaser. How about that?
Zerzan all theeee way!!!
Yeah Hany sounds like a real arrogant douchbag. I can't possibly respect people like him--acts like he deserves the win--people like that are bound to fail (and then come up with more excuses...).
Go Jordahl!
Has anyone told Hany that he should try and win some races before he predicts he'll win a national championship? I used to think once you get your ass handed to you in a race you kind of have to quiet down just a bit in terms of your trash talk.
Kosgei ran away from Hany with ease at Regionals and Hany has the nerve to trash talk him? I'd be embarrassed to be a runner at NYU if Hany was my teammate.
Hany is a true idiot! If he could move his legs as fast as he moves his mouth, he could sustain a 4:40 pace. He is in dream land thinking he can run a 4:40 pace and then pick it up.
Hany also has a history of not competing very well when the chips are down (NCAA) and publicly degrading his opponents. All I can say is that history tends to repeat itself.
Who is Abdallah trying to kid? The Atlantic Region race was the first race this year (that I know of) that he has left his NYU pack in an attempt to win. He got his but kicked by Kosgei and will get his butt kicked by at least 10 others at the NCAA.
and this talk about the "SJU kid" Erichson is going to hand it to hany, and just because he isn't cocky like hany doesnt mean he isn't as fast. He said he wanted to better his 50th place finish as a joke, he could have a terrible race and still do so. The truth is erichson will be in the top 5, no doubt. I think realistically no one will be able to go with sigls, he is too experienced and i would bet it will be a hell of a race for 2nd with kosegie and erichson. I hope the calvin guy and cortland guys smoke hany and nyu.
