Nothing is being kept secret. Marshall Ulrich advised Sandy to only focus on herself and not pay any attention to anyone else. She's taken that to heart. If and when she asks us about Mimi, we will tell her.
She has PLENTY to focus on over the next few weeks (i.e., running 900 more miles). She has a routine she has followed religiously since Day 1 . . . I'd say it's served her well thus far...)

This is a large part of the Marvelous ones problem, this Jenny and husband Tim telling her "many more races and world record running achievements ahead of her", which is crazy, just as starting this sham and encouraging her was knowing her condition.
Seems like it's all about reflected glory (and money?) for them.
Pity Tim, Susan and the Marvelous one don't read this thread, they might learn something.

For all we know, Sandy told her team at the beginning of the run not to tell her anything about what Mimi is doing.

"Unofficial" record because paperwork was not filed.
Lorna Michael age 34: 2912.4 miles in 64 days in 1993
This is a link to Lorna Michael's race which was a group race event. Markus can explain how this works and is different from what Sandy is doing. I believe the number of days was determined in advanced. What you see are total running times and the total number of days. The five all finished in 64 days it seems.

This was the typical stage race format. Minimum speed per stage 3.5 miles/hour. The race was in the middle of the summer.
Stage racing is a lot harder because you can't run with your own schedule. If you have a bad day you still have to do all the miles within the daily cut off.
If you go for the record, solo running can be harder if your daily mileage exceeds 50 miles per day.
The good thing with stage racing is that there are enough witnesses, so there is no need for Guinness book records.
In what delusional world does Mimi live in? A 55 yr old with a bad knee is not setting any new world records in the future.
