This last one is a bit comical. Trump claimed that a Fed. judge that was appointed by Obama 20 years ago could not possibly give him a fair shake. So he unsuccessfully sought to have his Hillary case moved to Judge Cannon. the 35 year old Federalist member he appointed with no qualifications because she would be "fair".

In other words, by having the info on her servers HRC threatened national security because classified info was in those emails. Just not marked as such.

Not exactly the same. Several levels worse. For example,

Teacher: You two boys share these 12 cookies.

Trump: Okay. [Teacher leave]

Trump to other boy: These 11 cookies are mine. That one is yours.

[Trump distracts the other and his cookie disappears. ... Boy cries.]

[Teacher comes back] Teacher: Why is he crying? What happened?

Trump: He tried to steal my cookie!

A document has to be created before a security editor reviews it. They determine how different words, paragraphs, pages, and sections should be classified. All pages in a document are not classified at the same level. A security editor will markup a document with the intent of removing unnecessary language to keep the document classification at the lowest level possible.

The process is much like a what news/book editor does. A person writes a draft, and an edited document results.

Hopefully every single draft document created by other at Trump's command was correctly classified before the words hit the page. That is basically what Trump and right-wing media are claiming the process works. But that is not how government documents get created, and the same applies to new articles, books, etc., .... where editors have a significant say on the language and content.

...Continuing to keep in mind that, for the laws actually at issue in this case, whether documents were classified, declassified, or never classified is absolutely irrelevant.

No, this itself is not a fair characterization. She is more experienced and better educated than many federal judges. The attached gives a little about her experience working in the law; at Michigan Law (considered a Top Ten law school), she was graduated magna cvm laude and Order of the Coif.

One can certainly disagree with her ruling/reasoning in this case; it is entirely false to say that she has "no qualifications."

I agree. Her qualifications for nomination were quite acceptable.

Her commenting on how she was inclined to rule, before hearing the DOJ's argument, was super sketchy.

Arguably. But if briefs were submitted beforehand and the judge read them, it isn't completely out of left field for the judge to indicate her or her inclinations at the beginning of oral presentations. That isn't to defend her ruling, which I think is wrong and poorly reasoned.

Unbelievably terrible reasoning. Nobody can disagree with the fact that the documents marked classified, secret, etc, belong to the government and NOT trump. If the FBI or DOJ needs them for an investigation (which they do) then the judge is effectively obstructing justice by ruling that FBI and DOJ cannot use them right now.

No, that happens often enough, especially on more discretionary issues like this.
