how about nate krah at nats? he looks better every race.

A couple good races for sure, but all in all another disappointing year for New England - a mere two All-Americans. I'm not sure the future looks any brighter.
I think the future looks a pretty bright. faller, what a race, only a soph. kosgey was one spot from AA, he'll be back. Murner had his best race of the year and was about 20 seconds from AA, he could definitely get there next year. yolkum, maybe worst race of the year, but kid has got a ton of talent. christian, who knows what went wrong, he easily has the talent to be AA next year, norte should've been there this year if he hadn't been hurt. Moorhead just missed out, he could easily be AA next year. And there are many more guys out there with the potential to be top 35 next year, to go along with some teams getting considerably better.
New England took a mighty hit last year from two years ago, but I think the region was up a bit this year considering how many guys were 35-45 and I think the teams could be better next year as well. The future is definitely bright.
I agree, consider the fact that if Yochum runs his normal race, Amherst finishes in the 6-8 range, Trinity moves out of the basement with a healthy Norte, Williams could leapfrog a team or two if Christian steps up, hopefully Lakehomer comes back from whatever kept him out this year. There could be two top-10 teams and several AA's next year from New England. Should be an exciting track season, watch for freshmen starting to make names for themselves after having a season to adjust, and perhaps guys who didn't live up to expectations in cross will be motivated to come back strong.
jesse faller? whered he come from, where was he last year?

I say there will be 3 all-americans from new england:
Kosgey
Krah
Butcher
Williams top 10
Amherst top 15
The region is not strong this year in terms of individuals or teams. Sorry guys, but the Midwest/Atlantic teams are going to dominate.
Nice job with the predictions. Substitute Butcher with Faller (who was a pretty big surprise) and you almost hit this right on. (Kosgey was so close.) Amherst was only four points behind Williams, though, so you got lucky there. Finally, it's become a real rivalry!
Tell us, what's going to happen next year?
