For those of you that keep mentioning the drums....what was UP with that? I went to the meet on friday night, and there were people in the infield beating drums and garbage cans the WHOLE ENTIRE TIME! It was soooooo annoying! I wonder if it was annoying for the athletes competing or if it motivated them?
I am surprised about that as well, but not as surprised as I was a few weeks ago when Gabe showed up at our local half marathon and made us look like a bunch a small timers who don't know the first thing about running. Check out the results.
No offense but a 1:09 isn't anything to brag about, especially when he has jogged a 1:05 or 1:06 I believe.
Prediction:
Gabe will do what he will do, which is kick ass if he wants to just like he did at the trials, or he'll find meaning in something else. A concept some of you are not aware of.
Nice to see support and caring, but for all the doubters, leave all the negative analysis to your own shoddy training logs and the spell checks. Here's one, skuc lbasl.
Gabe will be too busy putting his Stanford education to use with his one man street corner "shows" in Palo Alto and Berkeley.
a pathetic waste of talent.
"a pathetic waste of talent."
Could be said of the creater when they made you, dipsh#t.
