Wahlberg is closer to being one of the best. Check out "I Heart Huckabees," which has all kinds of Oscarwinners and esteemed actors and he's easily the best of the lot. And he's certainly not one-dimensional. Even with "Boogie Nights," he's got plenty of dimensions.

I would throw in any movie with Prince.
Assuming we are talking about actors who are supposed to be good, but aren't, Mark Wahlberg gets my vote.
Jeff Bridges
Tom Cruise
Ben Stiller
Adam Sandler
Keanu Reeves
Hilary Swank
Not trolling on Wahlberg
But maybe one dimensional is not the best description. Yes, he's been in different types of movies, but his acting in all of those movies is flat and narrow. He plays the same guy in each of the different movies. Waaay overrated. Probably the worst acting performance I ever saw was him in The Happening. It was almost comical. I thought he was dreadful in Planet of the Apes also. I didnt think his role in the fighter was all that good either.
Anyone who says Nic Cage is flat-out the worst actor is flat-out wrong, they fail to take into account that he is rather the most complex actor, i.e. he is simultaneously the greatest and worst actor there is. Some of the films/roles he pulls off are really good, such as "Adaptation," "Matchstick Men," "Raising Arizona" and others, yet they are couple with over-the-top garbage too.
David Caruso.

He plays the same guy in shooter that he does in the other guys?
He plays the same guy in Ted that he plays in The Fighter?
Lets be real. Mark Wahlberg is one of the best. Lets not take him for granted.
Not the same character.

You take that back about Will Smith
3 pages and no mention of Matthew McConaughey? WTF
Him and Ryan Gosling are neck and neck.
Brad Pitt isn't very good
I'm not sure who the worst actor is, but the best actor is definitely Daniel Day Lewis.

Wow!
And, he was only 19 at that time.

Brad Pitt is unwatchable but the media are so eager to suck up.
Ron Jeremy
Adam Sandler absolutely blows.
Bill Shatner by far. Worst over-actor of all time.
Comedian Kevin Pollack does the best impression of Shatner ever:
