Scandal after scandal after scandal. Do you liberals who continue defending this administration put your party above the best interests of the country, or does your loyalty to the Democratic party trump that of the country's best interests?

You're either deliberately parroting the media/White House obfuscation or you're not quite sharp enough to see you're being manipiulated (again)..
Bingo. Obama and his administration are the most duplicitous, shady and shifty group to occupy the White House since Nixon. Absolutely Machiavellian in ideology and methodology. Anyone who can't see is either a blind partisan or stupid or both.
Then which one are you: a blind partisan or stupid or both? Remember Dick Cheney?

I understand your desire to deflect, deny and blame it on Bush. If I was an Obama supporter and had the task of defending his disgusting administration, I'd also be tempted to use the childish defense tactic of "Johnny did it!".
News Flash: Bush and Cheney left office FIVE YEARS AGO, in case you missed it. (For the record, I have a quite a few criticisms of the Bush administration).
Try to stay in the present and explain how Obama just found out a few days ago on the evening news about how HIS Justice Dept. violated the Associated Press's 1st Amendment rights and HIS Treasury Dept. abused it's power through the IRS.

Eric Holder said it was a matter of national security and that American lives at risk - but Obama said he just found out about last Friday!!! Are you kidding me?! A matter of national security and he had no idea of it until when the AP story broke? That is laughable.

It would be funny if it wasn't so serious.
Either Obama knew long ago about what his AG said was one of the greatest national security risks he had ever seen and Obama knew about the subsequent tapping of reporters' phone records and he lied about it yesterday, OR as commander-in-chief he did not know about a national security risk so serious that it warranted violating 1st Amendment rights of the press.
Whichever of these is true - and one of them has to be - he is utterly incompetent to hold the office of president. But many of us already knew that.
Also, on all these growning scandals that Obama knew nothing about, Jay Carney said the administratin is getting all its information from news reports. From news reports???? Are you kidding me?

I'm not deflecting anything. You brought it up by making a definitive statement that left out one of the most controversial, duplicitous administrations of our nation's history that cannot be ignored by any historical standard. So I reminded you. Carry on, but you never answered the question: are you a blind partisan or stupid or both?

I made clear that I have criticisms of the Bush administration, which means I am willing to disagree with actions/policies of someone for whom I voted, and I know I am not stupid, so I'll let you and others here be the judge of what I am. From what I can tell so far, it's obvious which one you are.
Well your perceptive ability is not up to par, since I voted for Bush twice, despite my reservations the second time, but still not completely aware of the Iraq war build up debacle.
Getting back to reality, I think both of these recent "scandals" are more than likely common practice. I don;t think there is any question that parties in power monitor the political and grass roots doings of the party that is hell-bent on removing them from power. This coupled with the "anti-tax" and "anti-government" positions of the Tea Party groups makes them an obvious and easy target. It's just part of the political game.
As far as the AP, obviously a little more problematic, but not far-fetched that a government (or one of any private provider) entity is monitoring wire, cell, internet, etc. communications. Especially if some type of national security or intelligence issue is involved. Heck, Facebook does this, so what else would you honestly expect?
Now the reactions (e.g., we just heard about all this on the news, last Friday, etc.) is a terrible "official" response that makes absolutely no sense, and even if true, is just an idiotic position to take. The only thing I can see is that it is a tactical ploy to rile the Right Wing up even more, just to then have some feel good event swipe the rug out and make them all look like demons again, like with Sandy, etc. You know, the political game.

A national security issue with American lives at risk and the president of the US learns of it Friday when the AP story broke? that is a good one!
When it comes to intelligence and national security matters, nothing said by anyone can be taken at face value. See Benghazi, and every other act of terrorism, war, etc. that has ever occurred. This is common knowledge, although the press and opposition party try to make this appear to be just another transparent reporting issue, like a criminal act reported in your local paper.
I honestly have scandal-fatigue. I am not sure what else is coming.

Impeachment!

Libya was an illegal gun running operation for Islamic terrorists. That's why Obama isn't even looking for those who engaged in the attack.
