Sabrina's also a brilliant student. William and Mary/Yale.
No one on lets run could run 152 in 24. Many couldn't do 24 in 152.

Many things are impressive about her. On her blog, she writes in complete sentences and spells correctly. That is apparently too much to ask of some of the elite males who maintain blogs and are older than her.
Also, look at her races in 2012:
2012
Freedom Park 24-Hour: January 1 (100 miles in 15:30)
Rocky Raccoon 100-Miler: February 4 (1st place female, 100 miles in 17:06)
USA 24-Hour Run National Championship at North Coast: May 5-6 (1st Place--National Champion, was an American Record but has since been broken, 147.9 miles in 24 hours)
Back on My Feet 24-Hour Lone Ranger: 1st Place (3-time champion)
Ultracentric 24-Hour: 1st Place Overall (male and female), Texas State Champion
Dallas Marathon: ran with husband
She ran FOUR 24-hour races in 2012. I have never done a 24-hour running race, but I have done several 24 hour cycling races and they knock the shite out of you for about 1 month. Running for 24 would be worse.
She also did one 100-miler and one marathon, she raced more races than Ritz did all last year and they were mostly 24-hour races!!!
When she is running 150 mi in 24, she is doing almost SIX back-to-back 4:08 marathons with no rest. Realize that you DO have to eat and go to the bathroom over this time or you will not make it past ~40 miles.
Even though I know 4:08 is slower than jogging for most men who are good runners, think about how hard it would be to do SIX marathons in SIX days, even at jogging pace, and then realize that she does this without stopping all in one day.

I was thinking of that too.
Sabrina Little is ultra impressive!
As an ivy league grad, how did she end up in podunk Waco, TX?
I'm terribly gutted Connie Gardner lost her 24-hour record. Still a wonderful woman and still holds the record for 24 hours in the sand.
She will be running across America this summer for the Patriot Runners :
Is there really a record for 24 hours running in sand? How about 24 hours crawling across broken glass? Or 24 hours skipping through a field of flowers? Are there categories for those?
I have the world record for keystrokes typed while wearing a green, long-sleeved shirt with paint stains on it, while simultaneously wearing old Asics DS Traner 16 shoes with mud on the left toebox. That's awesome, right?
Here's Sabrina's race report. Great attitude. Funny comments about the 2x drug testing.
Racing with ear buds makes me lose a little respect for the sport.

Her quote from the article:
"...I have the muscular development of approximately a primary schooler."
Too funny
Impressive stuff. Good for her for setting a new American record.

Her husband looks like a primary schooler, too. She seems to be robbing the cradle.

A 24 hour zumba session would be more impressive.
3:38 at Dallas last december. LOL. You white knights are delusional. This woman is not athlete, she is an idiot.

You are pathetic. Anyone who can do that is an athlete and a very good one. People like you who put down runners no matter how fast or slow they are, are sad excuses for human beings, scum.

Why is she an idiot? She does what she wants to do and races what she is good at. You cite her marathon, that's like 1/4 distance for her if not lower. Rupp is crap when you look at sprints. You gonna call him not world class and an idiot when he only runs a 49 or so in the 400, a time high schoolers run and not get all state? Everyone has their distance.get the f*ck over it.
She ran the 3:38 with her husband (according to her blog).
I doubt he's in the same kind of shape as her.

...
No, she wore her Team USA gear like a member of a USATF team representing the United States at a world recognized running event.
No quotation marks. No phoniness anywhere. She raced against the best in the world in her event. Park your ignorance somewhere long enough to learn about the sport of running at a world-wide level and recognize someone who is very good at her event.
Ultramarathons are about the only place beyond 400 meters that the U.S. competitors can be on the same level as the field. This should serve as impetus to get out the door and train so the rest of the U.S. (distance) running could be comparable to a small group of talented and determined ultramarathon runners.
