You are a ND fan and none too smart.
LSU's coach stupided that game away to Bama. Trick plays, prevent defense, easy winning TD ring any bells?
How many Oregon games have you actually watched? I bet ZERO before last night.
The defense sucked last night, due to two key injuries during the game, and USC having, as others have stated, some great weapons on offense.
It's college ball, so some key injuries can hurt alot. And so the defense sucked last night -- but they provided enough stops and turn overs to win.
USC is built like an SEC team. Pay attention.
I am paying attention. I pay attention to statistics and what really matters, strength of schedule and defense. That's what wins titles. Just ask the SEC.
USC is built like an SEC team? How many SEC teams give up 62 points? USC isn't even in the top 50 in defense (#65). There are 8 SEC teams in the top 50 on defense, 9 that are better than USC on defense. USC is NOT built like an SEC team.
I've actually watched a couple of Oregon games but did not see last night's game. Their defense is mediocre... ALL THE TIME, not just last night. They gave up 34 to Arkansas State and 25 to Fresno State, non BCS conference schools.
They let Washington State, #99 in the country on offense, score 26. 19 in the first half. They were leading after the first half 23-19 against a team that has not won a game in the PAC 12 this season and has an overall record of 2-7.
I shouldn't waste my time talking about SOS because the Ducks haven't played their most important games yet. Ducks opponents - 33-32 (3 teams from non BCS schools). ND - 37-32 (1 team from a non BCS conference). Before Saturday the Ducks opponents had an overall losing record.
Notre Dame is not perfect. They've got plenty of flaws. Claiming Oregon and USC can hang with the SEC is ridiculous. If Oregon makes it through Oregon State, Stanford, and the PAC 12 title game, then let's talk.
