When you say that people have their computers confiscated, etc., tell me who? You can't just state these things and be taken with perfect seriousness.

And 95% of the academic departments are not staffed with Stanford grads. That is patently untrue, which makes me question the rest of what you're saying.

I have heard no other information. Stanford is mum. Competition is very tough at the four main Olympic Medal schools. When they fire staff they don't issue press releases for good reason, they don't want to discourage new hires. UCLA canned a bunch of coaches recently too and rumors are Dan Guerrero is on a short leash with the alumini after the London fiasco.

The link about Floreal leaving Stanford and landing at Kentucky has the ring of truth. If Floreal actually was fired (which I don't think he was), Stanford was very kind to let him transition so cleanly to a new gig at U.K., and take much of his Stanford staff with him. But again, I think Floreal left of his own accord.

Only Weir was "involuntarily let go" and it was well documented on this site previously his conflict with Floreal. The others left on their own accord, with family considerations being the most common reason, followed by opportunities.

Stanford sports has been that way since the days of the gold rush when Chinese were banned from the Farm and from applying as students. There's no loss of honor to Edrick. NFL and MLB coaches get fired every year. In Silicon Valley, FAILURE is not discouraged.

Stanford opened its doors in 1891. The Gold Rush was over forty years before that. Unfortunately Stanford was like nearly all schools in applying racial quotas during its earliest years, and for some decades later. All this is to say that your attempted point about Stanford in particularly is fairly obscure, especially because so-called "White" students are currently only a 34 percent majority of the undergraduate population. There are currently 1,257 students of Asian descent in an undergraduate student body of 6,927.

It's terrible that in 2012, Stanford, USC, Princeton, Yale, etc. has two black eyes for Asian Exclusion policies. Civil Rights for public facilities and higher education is still a far fetched dream in America.

What are these Asian exclusion policies? Seriously, I'd like to hear about them.

I'm a Cal graduate (avowed Stanford rival school) and even I have to say this guy is completely full of BS about Stanford coaches being fired. Why would they fire Vin who ohhh...won a few NCAA XC titles in his day?

It seems like the same troll who boasts about LA winning Olympic medals. Come to think of it he's probably the same anti-Israel troll too.
