I am curious to see what Kenenisa brings to the table today. Kenenisa should be able to muster a WL time of 26:55 or so, but it may be a bit windy for anything faster. Look for Kipsiro to show good form.

I don't usually like to quote myself, but as per usual, I have nailed another prediction. Kenenesa COULD have run 26:55 today, and that is obvious to even the unwashed, as he ran 27:02 and won the race with a 2:32 last 1000m.
Moses Kipsiro did show good form, running a pb of 27:04.
This ability I have is uncanny and effortless. I should not brag, but it ain't bragging when you can back it up.
Also, Kenenisa will NEVER run faster than 26:40 or 12:54 again, as I pointed out in the first post of this thread, and he sure looks like a good bet to get silver in London, as I also pointed out. OK, enough...
Kenenisa said after today's race that he is 100 percent back. Well, he'll NEVER be in the shape he was a few years ago, but at 90 percent of that he's still good enough to nab a silver in London.

90% of Bekele is good enough to beat anyone. 100% and no one stands a chance.
He tweeted: "Mo Farah is a great athlete in great shape but I am determined to win a record third Olympic gold at London."
I have already stated that Kenenisa is going to get the silver, so don't get too cocky, Kenenisa, as the great one has spoken, and there will be no gold for you this year.
Today Kenenisa turns 30 years old. KB is now well past his peak as a track star. It is time for me to glance into my crystal ball once again.
KB will get the silver medal at 10,000m in London.
KB will not medal at 5,000m in London.
KB will NEVER run faster than 12:54 and 26:40 again. KB will go down as one of the all time greats. KB simply does not have the ability to outkick the best in the world anymore, but he is still a factor and still one of the best currently competing, as evidenced by his silver medal in London.
You were wrong that Kenenisa would get Silver as he finished 4th. But you were correct about the rest even though they laughed at you, as most assumed Kenenisa would get Gold.
I must be missing some context but this was such a weirdly hostile thread. Bekele was nowhere near his prior form, soundly beaten in every DL he ran and 3 years removed from medaling. Not sure why it got so much hate to say he would get "only" get a Silver in the 10K, people seemed to take that as a personal affront. And he didn't even end up with a medal, so they were even more wrong.

Also bizarre to see no mention of Mo Farah considering he was coming off gold in the 5k and silver in the 10k the previous year.

maybe the thought that 10,000m he did the year prior in 26:43 was an indication he was back....which he unfortunately wasn't.
Whenever I watch the 2012 10,000m I keep thinking he is about to go like he used to and just doesn't... He was also in terrible position with a lap to go
