Your entire argument hinged on the "fact" that Rupp would not break 13 minutes at the Prefontaine meet. You were wrong. Your rigorous analysis and extrapolation were null and void when you couldn't even correctly predict that Rupp would go sub-13. If you are not even able to predict something so universally known, how can you possibly possess the intelligence to speculate on actual times?

Is this your best effort? You have been proven wrong on many occasions, yet continue to post your nonsense. You say that Webb might be able to run 13:30-13:35 yet offer no clear evidence to back your claim. Your supposed genius has yet to be proven correct. i haven't looked at webb too closely this year, but possibly, currently in 1'48/1'50 & 3'36 shape in perfect races ?

if his endurance extended "perfectly" to 5k, then we have some estimates

3'36 with

1'50 ->13'02.3 !

1'49 ->13'14.3

1'48 ->13'26.2

i'd have to go with bottom line

it woud need a perfect race & his current endurance extending all the way to 5k ( off presumed 1500 training )

it's going to be helluva an ask for him to break 13'30...
