Shaq joined my fitness club last year during the basketball season so he could swim in the mornings. He makes a very large wake.

I work in healthcare and unfortunately it is becoming increasingly common to have patients who are so large that we need to use hydraulic lifts in order to move them. So I have come in contact with plenty of 400+ pounders.

I saw Manute Bol (7 feet, 7 onches) wandering the concourse at a Celtics game. I asked him for a fist pound and it took a good 30 seconds for our fists to travel the appropriate distance to connect.

I partied with Kenny George, a 7'7" guy.

Agree.

Gentleman a bit under 900lbs, his mother 1100 lbs.Both floor ridden .Much difficulty getting them to ambulance.

My dimestore psychology is that these individuals develop phobias about going into there dangerous neighborhoods,thus never leaving their housing project apartments . And public assistance money supports their addiction to high calorie foods.

Oh, and other brother was 160 lbs.

I worked with a patient who was 6'3", 740 lbs. He could walk about 60 feet with a walking stick before his knees gave out.

He was in the hospital for 3 weeks, on 1500 calories per day. Had been consuming approx 10,000/day at home.

He only lost 10 lbs. We're pretty sure his girlfriend was sneaking him food.

I have also met Shaq. He has the biggest hands I have ever seen. His hand was the size of size of my entire chest.

This is why I give little respect to NBA centers & power forwards: Basically no one's 6-10 to 7-0 tall. An NBA PG or a tennis or baseball player have to beat out millions. A 7-footer, not at all. Jordan, Pip, Rodman were all crap @ 6-foot, then became great only 6-8 inches later.

About 15 years ago, I ran at a track meet in Eugene. I'm a 5'6" woman and was in good shape at the time, so I weighed about 105 lbs.

One morning I was walking down the sidewalk in front of my boyfriend, not paying attention, and walked right into a hammer thrower. I apologized profusely. Hammer Thrower grinned and said "No problem."

Boyfriend came up behind and just cracked up with laughter. He said, "You just bounced off that guy - he didn't even move! It was like he was swatting away a fly!"

For height - I have met Ralph Sampson a couple of times as well (7'4")

For weight - Been around several 400 pounders occasionally. This one guy who said he weighed 520 came to our poker game once and needed two chairs side by side - he took up the entire side of the table.

not the "largest" but most intimidating- rocky boiman, when he was in the NFL playing for the titans. ran into him in the weight room as he was mid-bench press. HUGE DUDE. my testicles shrank up into my body out of fear.
