I don't think it is as big of a deal that he doesn't have a degree as it is that he is a college dropout. It wasn't like he went for a year or even two years and decided this isn't for me. He went for at least three years, achieved mediocre grades and then quit. That is what bothers me.

How do you know he quit? What is the difference between leaving in the first or second year and the 3rd year?
lol. I actually agree with you to a large extent.
maybe if he had a degree, he'd understand how stupid it was for him to have refused the federal train funds for the Madison to Milwaukee line.
I live in MN (used to live in WI), and I give him a lot of credit for refusing that money. That project is a boondoggle....starry-eyed train buffs love it, though.

exactly which college class of the general core curriculum would teach you that sort of thing?

.
You think that the creation of Wendy's is good for society?
I do. How many jobs did Wendy's create from the people who work there to the farmers who grow product to the truckers who deliver it to the construction workers who built the buildings; it goes on and on.
There is nothing wrong (IMHO) with having a burger occasionally and Wendy's might be better than most of the other large chains.
The role of a business is to make money for its investors. To do that they pay folks for the work they do. Lots of good things in creating wealth. Funny how people scream about hunger in developing countries and obesity in developed countries. Perhaps Obama needs to decide the weight each person should be. He acts like he knows how to run your life better than you.

Prove it please. I'd love to see this.
This is where I got that from:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/6473754/Sarah-Palin-StatsI'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and say it's fake because it also says she has an IQ of 83 and an 841 SAT. I really, really hope its fake.

I will agree with you that the sole purpose of a business should be to make money for its investors, but the government should tax fast food to internalize cost (long term and short term) that are not represented in the price. The cost of obesity in America is paid by everyone who has health insurance and farming practices that result in manure runoff can have a very devastating impact on the environment. You and I both know that people make very irrational decisions about their health and although I hate it when people tell me how to live my life, I hate it more when people who live recklessly make my life worse.

Fake? Think about it: if even the average American recognized the idiocy of some of the things she said, then what does this say about her IQ?
I'm calling it fake because I'm afraid of what it will mean if it's real.
