How will you guys run relative to the addidas meet? I would guess that you are at a different place in your training cycle and where does it fit in with prep for your league meet? Are any of you guys going to be at the Big Ten meet (can you get back from league that quickly?)?

I see six guys at 25:17 and below, and They dropped an average of 45 seconds (plus one guy who went from 26:44 to 24:55] in four weeks running on the same course (UW's). With another couple of weeks, they may all go below 25 and that is before factoring in what might be a very fast course, so there 24:36 - 25:17 (1-6) spread could end up being 23:50-24:30 and they will have enough depth in a large race to beat teams with weak 4/5 runners.No, they are not going to beat 17 ranked teams, but they are not going to be last and they do not have a whole lot of scholarship money in support at a private school.

Speaking of schools in Wisconsin, how are the Badger women going to run this weekend? Will they be prepared for grass this time?

Marquette will win, butler 2nd

Since they did not say anything about Grinakar that is not a good sign. She has had some problems that get noted as injury but it does not seem to resolve. Without her and one more they are not deep enough, especially since a couple of promising runners have not really developed over the last couple of years. She was the first frosh four years ago, and laid down some good track times then as well, but been a question mark ever since. Throw her in as well as the Chicago frosh not falling apart and they would have finished much higher, although possibly low enough to drop from the rankings.

On the mens side it's a bit gutting that there's no Derrick, Chelanga McNeil match up but sure to be some great racing.

Flotrack coverage looks like its going to awesome. Will be interesting to see how it will compared to the nationals coverage. (my bet, it will be a shit load better than what the nationals coverage is for a much lower cost)

On the womans side should be some great racing as well. I would say that the Notre Dame race was stronger and therefore gonna put my money on the van Dalen girl actually a van Dalen 1st & 2nd.

I'm looking forward to see how Montana State runs. They are running about the same as the squad that finished 11th at nationals in 2002, but this will be an important weekend for them to pick up some at-large points. It is going to be tough to get any at-large points this year at Big Sky, so it all comes down to prenats and regionals.

Since no one has brought it up: CU men top 3 in White Race. They are deceptively strong this year. May contend to win it all by the end of the year.

The CU women will win the White Race, with Laura Tremblay and Emma Coburn in the top 5.

The white race is really weak. It will come down to Colorado and Portland, but Portland's #5 is way back right now, so Colorado will take it. My focus is on the other race.

What time do the races start tomorrow?

The course looked terrible. The Wisconsin course looks vastly better than this thing.

He's just saying it will be fast you fu**ing dick.

You are probably one of those people (usually shi**y runners) that think XC should only ever be ran on muddy mountain trails or shit like that.

I wouldn't say mediocre English runners...
