If Sam Chelanga decided to run after he recieves his citizenship, within the next two years he would no doubt be one of the top cross country runners for the usa, witha good chance to at least be in the top 10. But I am not sure what his focus will be when he completes school; Track, road, marathon, cross country. Interesting to see, since I don't think he has peaked yet. His brother has run sub 2:10 for the marathon. I would think he is capable of running sub 2:10 as well. Not many sub 2:10 usa marathoners: meb and ryan. Is there anyone else that has broken the 2:10 mark? I can't think of anyone, I hope someone does soon, it would great to see more sub 2:10 marathoners in the usa. Chelanga wants to run for the usa, he commented the usa gave him the opportunity to run and he likes it here. He would be a great addition to usa running!
