Conan O'Brien is not funny anymore

I thought it was the constant OJ jokes and the famous Dancing Itos that put Leno over the top of Letterman.

I've always been a huge Leno fan, and view him as far funnier and more polished than Letterman or Conan. Leno is likely the most under-rated entertainer in my generation. The only late night host who was even close to being as good as Leno was Keenan Ivory Wayans. Recall that Keenan had the best and hottest band in late night!!!!

He never was to begin with.

Leno is the funniest stand up I've ever seen live. Incredible control of the audience, great family humor, with enough adult content to make the youngsters wonder "why was that funny?". I didn't expect much and was REALLY surprised.

Give me a break, Leno is a right-wing idiot who helped bring about the Iraq was and Ahhhnold as Govenor.

He's been telling the same tired Lewinsky jokes for OVER 15 YEARS NOW!

Leno USED to be funny but then he turned right-wing whore and the humor went away.

The only worse case was poor Dennis Miller. That guy used to be one of the funniest men on the planet. His comedy PPV's sold out in minutes. Then he went right-wing whore and he's stuck at 3am debating someone about healthcare on FOX. Completely unfunny now.

I started watching Late Night with Conan Obrien after Andy Richter had left the show, so I am not sure how good he was there, but I think a big reason why I am not enjoying Conan on the Tonight Show as I did in the Late Night slot is because of Andy Richter. He just hasn't done anything for me at all. I also miss Joel Goddard.

Andy really hasn't found a way to incorporate himself into the show. He interjects at bad times and often says dumb jokes to back it up.

Conan thrives on self-deprecation of himself and the people around him. Something you would never find often with Leno beside the chin jokes. So Max Weinberg, La Bamba and Joel were portrayed as the awkward creeps/pervs and Conan is the pale, freakishly tall nerd. I can understand if some people don't like that humor. The pervish aspects of his show have been dulled down probably because of a more conservative time slot.

From the ratings I saw Conan is pulling better ratings than Letterman in the 18-49. Of course it is the Summer.

conan was never that funny. its just a shame that it took the slower people all these years and a promotion for them to realize it. enjoy your new late night slot for a couple decades

I resented Leno at first because I was a big Letterman fan, but over time I had to accept that Leno is the better stand-up. However, I think Letterman is a superior interviewer, and for the little I've seen of Conan, he has possibly the superior writing team, at least in regard to sketches.

Conan once launched himself on a zipline down the studio audience stairs - wearing a smoke helmet and rocket boots - to thwart John Wilkes Booth's assassination attempt on Abe Lincoln. He and Lincoln then danced a jig in celebration. All in an attempt to kill a few seconds of air time during the writer's strike.

You Leno fans can keep your idol and his stale brand of "humor" engineered for retirement homes.

not a huge Fallon fan, but I loved his Zack Morris interview. Zack was money in it.
