Hurt? More like overtrained. I've trained and raced through fractured bones, torn muscles, and passed out to finish and run respectable marathon times (including the OTs). I'd be damned to put in that kind of work and get that kind of opportunity, only to DNF.
He wasn't even in Berlin. He gave up his spot over a month ago. Ed Torres took his spot and didn't even start the race. Justin Young was a DNF in Berlin.

Young has never DNF'd at any of his marathons until today. But you must be a badass. How many have you run? And what respectable times are we talking? should have you been in Berlin? And by "bad" I mean "jack."
