Lagat was not at the top of his game, and probably would not have medaled even if he had made the final. Then again I guess you never know...
Lagat got f***ed from having a false positive from a a sample that wasn't properly handled. I very much doubt that this is the case with Ramzi, who has all the hallmarks of a cheat.

Again you cant burn Ramzi at the stake for a positive A sample if you can't do the same for Lagat.
Ramzi could still have a "mishandled B sample" that will be negitive and get him off like Lagat did.
Why does the IOC/IAAF allow A sample results to be released before testing the B sample? There is a reason the A sample/B sample setup exists.
Damn, as much as I have vilified this guy (he is a dick, even if he is clean), I would hate to be in the position of a sketchy A sample and then have the B be totally clean. Your reputation would be totally screwed possibly by a mistake.

Not true, Ramzi had run at least one race much earlier in the year- a 5000, as he had his eyes on the 15/5 double at one point.

Oh come on. Even if this were the true opinion of all Americans, it still doesn't mean anything. The higher ups in the IAAF, WADA, etc don't necessarily hold the same ethnic stereotypes as you. For example, maybe some Pacific Islander or something in the IAAF sees Africans as a scourge on humanity. OR more likely, he is a normal, professional human being who sees everyone as equal.
