Hell of a runner...yes.

30 sub fours....I doubt it. Didn't break 4 until 1970 and didn't compete for that long after that.

It's called respecting tradition. Newcomers fail to understand that, too often.

48, could you verify the 32 four minute miles....that is a helluva lot....specially for a 5k runner.

Len Hilton was very prominent in that classic 1971 AAU 3 mile. Raced in a V-necked T-shirt.

He is the only UH runner and first Texan to break the four-minute barrier in the mile and attained the feat 32 times. During his running career, Hilton was a two-time American champion in the mile in 1973 and 1975.

WOW! 32 4 minute miles is impressive. Of course, he probably didn't run too many 1500 meters back in the day.
