My theory is that your taste in music is sort of fixed by what is popular when you are between 15 and 25 years of age. You will listen to music more recent and from earlier periods but 15 - 25 establishes "your" music. So, what would iconic/appropriate songs be in this period - 1975 until 1985 or so?
