I knew Seth at UMKC and it was very obvious that he had potential but who could have guessd he would make these kind of strides...while at UMKC though he wore the really baggie soccer shorts to practice, always used an ipod to run with, didn't have any competition at the school, and ran 9 minute pace on his easy days which he would go out and run by himself most of the time...we talked right before he transferred and I told him my prediction was he would have to get rid of the soccer shorts and lose the ipod and it probably would not be the coach making him lose them but it was probably going to be the team...he confirmed to me that is what happened...
I am really happy for him and look to see a lot more imporvement...

By the way, since 2004 that concentration of pseudo ephedrine is legal. In reality, what was cold medicine with a kid who ran a 30 minute 10k is all you have on Arkansas, ever. Most coaches have worked with an athlete who has taken ephedrine for cold medicine, whether in competition or not, so lets call all those athletes DOPERS too.
Accusing - FACT - Salazar was a Balco listed client in the FBI investigation and congressional hearings, look it up big shot. Further, Salazar was "considered" by many popular opinions to be a drug user when he was part of Athletics West!
A small Canadian company had doctor's receipts paid by Nike for steriod based complexes (supposedly, I never witnessed such items) for Salazar, (Another suspicious idea the was viewable on the internet for about 2 day in 2004 until it was taken down under a lawsuit threat). Lastly, Salazar is was recently by Victor Conte's daughter listed as a SNAC client (Balco's new name). Do you need more evidence? - If nothing more than to question the group, which is what you are doing by questioning Mr. Summerside. Summerside is development, something based on Salazar's current group and the PRs coming to him that he has accoplished with only Rupp. The rest of the guys were better prior to coming to him or have returned to that form, no big developments!

If Cold medicine is the only infraction for a concentration that is no longer banned for a program that has contended for 9 out of 10 NCAA titles in Cross, Indoor, and Outdoor since 1984, I feel that this is just remarkable. Is there any difference in stipulating that Salazar is doping Rupp based on Salazar's rumored past (the 1970s). I like to hear Alberto speak and I think Rupp just works harder than most people, yet, if Arkansas kids are doping than I feel you have to say Oregon kids are doping as there is the same level of rediculous facts to promote both "rumors"! I say increase testing for both groups and see what comes out in the WATER!

I see him going close to sub 13 but def will not run 3:33, he does not have the speed for that. 3:33 is a whole different ball park from his current PR
