It is in fact an old rock tour bus - the driver mentioned several of the bands that have used it (can't recall right now, but some decent acts). Definitely cool inside, and you can sense there's a good deal of history (not to mention illicit substances) imbedded in the interior woodwork.

The Hansons are great for the sport. I was watching the New York City marathon and my six year old neighbor came up to me and asked me if the Hansons were running in it. (they weren't). BTW, her mother is about a 34 minute 5ker.

The bus is actually being converted to a bio-diesel. Interesting. It will be ready for the chicago marathon.
Wow...Holy smokes you guys were not kidding, that Hanson's bus is sweet. It is parked about a block from where I live in Peoria (Steamboat Classic tomorrow morning) and it is the real deal, that thing is sweet. Now I can see how it cost $150,000.
I had a chance to ride the bus. It is pretty sweet. Mirrors on the ceiling in the back. 3-4 tvs, a table and couch. Comfy way to travel. I believe Johny cash used the bus in the past.
What the Hanson's are doing is great. Back in 99 I was given the chance to run with them, but passed on it. I was getting married and couldn't commit to their running schedule. I regret not joining--not because my marriage isn't great, but because I know my wife would have supported it more than I thought she would.
The fact that they have increased the # of houses and athletes and now the Bus just proves their dedication to the sport. To the Hanson brothers and Hanson athletes, good luck. To Verran, even though we were rivals EMU/WMU, it's great to see you doing well.
