OK, if the event is sanctioned by USATF and IAAF (which is would be if sanctioned by USATF), then Asmae (as much as I hate to say it) has the right to race no matter what Elite Racing has to say. She has the right to sue them. Why? She served her penalty given by the World sanctioning body and hence, she has the same right to a race on public roads as anyone else especially with open entry online. Elite Racing must given a reason why they pulled her off the line or the course and if it is merely she tested positive and serve two years suspension, then Elite Racing will be paying a legal fine equal to the female winner of the races prize money. Lastly, drug testing is not a perfect science and Marion proved that the EPO test has flaws. She was never positive, but forced positive in my opinion by Catlin (validated incorrectly the EPO test, and gets paid USADA grant money to improve the test, and he also prosecutes American Athletes!). He is in effect all 3 branches of government. Why is nonone being tested out of Competition in Russia? So what has Elite Racing really done. Put more money into testing for Moroccans, Russian Women, Romanians, and Africans if you want to spend money.
I do not agree with Asmae competing, but Elite Racing should have asked her for proof of OOC drug testing and reinstatement testing (allowed to ask by the rules), which she likely could not provide. This is the professional way to solve this problem. There are false positive out there, but Asmae admitted use, so she is just a cheater!!
