Willis has alot more in the tank.he is a very inspiriational guy and all of new zealand support him. If you yanks supported webb more i bet he will start running better, you put to much pressure on him . if willis falls he knows he has a country to pick him back up. But when webb falls you guys just leave him there to rot.
Good Job Willis you make us kiwis proud
quoted for emphasis. i don't get how any american who laments the state of distance running can, in good conscience, do anything but support webb. he really is THE hope. good on you, kiwis, for supporting your guy.

Sullivan is having a last stance.
Is that a combination of a last stand and a last dance?
Regardless, it is nice to see that Sullivan still has a time like that in him. Does anyone know if he is going to run in any fast 5K races in Europe this summer?
aussies dont support mottram.
Webb-3:48 mile
willis who?
Willis-3.32 1500
Webb who?
Willis-1.45 800
Webb who?
Sully's longevity brings up an interesting stat: what is the longest span of time that an athlete covered a mile under 4:00 and/or 1500 under 3:42? My guess is John Walker or Steve Scott, both around 18-19 years ??? Sully is at about 16.

you've got to go to the decimals on that one, as webb also has a 3:32 to his name.
if you're gonna go to an off event (1:45), then...

seriously why all the comparisons, they'll prob race later in the season anyway.
What's up with it all being about Webb v Willis!!??
it's mostly people who still have sand in their vaginas about webb leaving michigan. along comes a nearly-identical athlete that allows them (in their mind) to prove what would've happened had he stayed, and it gives then free reign to rag on webb/raczko every chance they get. they can't accept that, while warhurst is a good coach, he wasn't good for webb.
man....woodsy is the next great thing to come out of Michigan!!!!!!
you heard it here first.
And the little bugger is paying for this trip all himself you nosey little punks
Webb certainly has one hell of a range. He's a very similar athlete to Steve Ovett. I would worry though about his ability to finish fast in a race. He seems to be a good time trialer but would be no match for the Ramzi's of this world in a championship.
People like Mike East have shown that with 3.32 you can make Olympic finals and that anything can happen whilst your in the final and for that I think Willis could be the real deal.
Scott ran a 3:35 1500 at age 35.
