Yeah, I do think after all the hoops Oregon's administration and coaches have had to jump through for Rupp, it would be the right thing for him to do to stick around.
I'd also like to see him stick around, but i don't thikn it wuold be a jerk move if he left. He's already done more for Oregon in the sense of distance running then anyone has in the history of the program, even pre. Rupp comes aboard and then wall comes, Vin Comes, Andy Powell comes, Kiptoo comes, Mcgrath comes, and now every HS runner in the world is coming trying to make Oregon a distance power again. All started with Rupp...and of course Salazar pushing things. So i don't thikn he owes the oregon administration anything. If he leaves tommorow they will still have what they wanted. A distance team that will be ready to compete on the national level very soon.
Also we also have to want what's best for American Distance running, not just the ncaa. Rupp could be one of our best, and i don't think the college system is bad, but i do think there is better.
