try hard, 3:06s isn't a bad result. that's still 15:30 for 5000m.
yesterday we had some easy 400s. 12x400 in 75s was the plan, but we sped up. first 4 were 75s, next 4 were 74s, next 4 were 72s. hard to hold back, but doing any more or faster wouldn't help at this point, with my races in 8/12 days. really wanted to lay down another 4-6 at 70 or faster, but again...worthless. recovery was 200m, about 55-60 sec.
today (sat) i did 6 easy at noon, and i'll probably do 4-5 more tonight. tomorrow should be a 90-100 minute long run.
