I'm a conservative. I support ICE. This woman was wrong. She made bad decisions to take illegal actions. Her wife made a horrifically bad decision in shouting, "Drive! Drive! Drive!"

Still, I've seen every camera angle released so far. I've attended multiple armed self-defense classes. I don't think that was a justified use of deadly force. I don't know if a jury would convict him, but he wouldn't want me on the jury.

tl;dr The far left behind-the-scenes powers are celebrating today because they finally agitated one of their useful idiots enough to provoke ICE agents enough to get themselves killed, so now they have their martyr to escalate their violence.

I think I agree with all of this. Unless something had happened earlier, I am not sure why the shooter pulled his gun. (Or is that "procedure"?) That does not seem necessary with this situation, this woman (who did do a number of very unwise things). Maybe legally he can do this, I don't know. Maybe procedure does not allow trying to jump out of the way of the car, or he did not think he could, I don't know. But regardless I struggle with him pulling the gun.

But honestly, and think what you want, I will not mourn her loss. These so called protesters keep pushing the envelope further and further in obstructing LE or others and creating very unsafe situations and impacting other's rights (such as Jews in some "protests"), and eventually, in this case, the LE made what I think is a bad decision. Too bad for her wife, her children, her friends, but this whole scene should not have taken place. Protests are fine, but they are going too far. And Ms Good made way too many bad decisions, and paid for it.

But the mayor is really an idiot. To say there was no threat because the shooter only got a limp? How about if she had pointed a gun at him, would that have justified shooting? Or if she had shot, but only grazed him? I wonder what his police think about that statement about there being no threat?
