The DOJ is terrified of actually prosecuting him and just wants this all to go away now that they have the FBI embarrassing documents back in their possession. They will be shutting this whole thing down in the next few days, I suspect.
It is an interesting theory. But then Trump should be letting the story die. Of course, Adult's theory that Trump would have won in a landslide without the FBI warning of a disinformation dump is absurd because the story was out in the world anyway, and Trump's loyal supporters believed Trump. And for the rest of us, they can go ahead and convict Hunter of any crimes they can pin on him, but it wouldn't have made Trump our choice on the ballot.

It's not a new theory... bare in mind you swallowed all 500 anti-Trump theories that all turned out to be false before this one.
Even with this new witch hunt the theories get discredited almost immediately. Trump had the nuclear codes! False. Trump is selling out our spies! False.
The FBI has been caught lying numerous times. The FBI has been caught falsifying warrants. The FBI spied on Americans for political reasons.
You have WAAAAY too much faith in agencies that have been completely discredited.
What we do know is that the FBI botched the Hillary Clinton classified document case so badly that if they try to prosecute Trump for lesser versions of the same crime the country will burn.
I'll take your word for it that it's not a new theory. But I've never seen you express it before, and it is inconsistent with other theories I've seen you express.

Part of the problem is 'being led to the water' by posters like you. My exchange with you yesterday with pointing out that you got the First Amendment application wrong. And that, in part, seems to be the source you had looked at. Then it appears that you and/or your source misstated what the FBI had said and whether it specifically addressed the laptop. Now you are complaining that my 'bubble' doesn't consult your sources. That from the guy who has frequently said of those who disagree with him regarding Ukraine that we couldn't find Ukraine on a map and that we had never heard of it until this year.
I have been familiar with Trump for many years. The guy is a mobster, so there is nothing that could prompt me to vote for him. However, my bubble is a lot bigger than you think, despite you seeming to think you know all about us, and if I find someone I trust (and yes, I know many conservatives, including my best client who is a former SEAL and has been a GOP office holder locally) who can recommend Devine's book, I'll check it out.

It's really interesting: Trump had all of these documents that are potentially embarrassing/incriminating for the FBI this whole time and didn't release them. But once these supposed documents were taken, that's when we hear about them from folks like TheAdultInTheRoom.
It's just like all of the mountains of evidence showing that Trump won the election, but weirdly all of it vanishes when his lawyers and/or sycophants show up in court.
This must be that 4D chess that I keep hearing about. Real stable genius stuff.

AdultRoom's new theory works on a superficial level. But there are a lot of big holes in it, that sadly he will never be able to grasp. If he was informed of the logical holes and the inconsistencies with his other theories, he'd start talking about Hillary Clinton and hunter Biden and some strawman stuff.
