Actually this was amazingly close to being a very successful insurrection. People down playing the potency of this insurrection don't understand this type of insurrection and how close it came to being successful. This wasn't the type of insurrection where a well armed militia take over our government by outgunning and over powering our army.
It was an insurrection aimed at stopping our democratic process of certifying the legal election so that Trump could send the election back to the elected state officials and thereby overturning the results so that he would stay in power. If the capital attackers were successful with scaring Pence to leave the capital (in the limo driven by Trump loyalists) stopping certification, there is a very good chance the insurrection would have been successful and Trump would be our current president.
So yeah that was an insurrection that almost worked. Not small potatoes.

So many of your posts are like this. Lacking a basic understanding of how things operate, and then being upset (or pretending to be upset) over standard or mundane operation.
Being upset that a probable cause affidavit for a search warrant is sealed (or partially sealed) is like being upset that the military classifies certain sensitive information. It can’t operate otherwise. Crying “where’s the transparency?!?!” makes you look like you don’t even what a search warrant is, but just need something to be upset and cynical about.
I have been away from this topic for a while so forgive me. But has anyone asked Trump how he can declassify the Top Secret documents if the FBI Planted them?

I read the other day that 896 people have been charged for various crimes committed on January 6th. All of these individuals were "fighting" for Trump under his slogan to "stop the steal". Trump raised 250 million from other followers to continue this fight to stop the steal.
