All the memory experts tell us that mistaken identity in a case like this is basically impossible.

So while it might not be enough to convict Kavanaugh in a court of law, it is more than enough to keep him off the Supreme Court.

This was quite funny. I've been a college professor for over a decade. If not for publishing a book and then going around and talking about it, there would be zero video of me in my professional capacity. Basically, if a prof doesn't publish-- and most at lower-tier teaching institutions do not publish regularly-- there will not be much video of them.

As Dr. Ford was never really questioned and her allegations were taken at face value and investigated, we will never know her motivations. But, you have to admit that it is possible she was entirely motivated by concern over the direction of the court and potential implications to the Blackmun decision. Possible that she was motivated enough to put her reputation on the line to try to stop the power swing on the court. As her social media history was wiped, we don't currently know. This is at least as possible as the theory that the events occurred exactly as she described them.

I listened to her testimony and agree that she was very sincere and generally credible. If there was any corroboration, Kavanaugh would be done. But, there isn't any.

Ford's lack of prominence as a professor just points to the fact that it's not incredibly challenging to become a prof at a smallish university where the emphasis is on teaching. I'm only slightly more accomplished than she is so whatever disparaging remarks you want to make about her intellect you can also direct at me. It won't change the fact that we know and are able to convey specific, fairly complex subject matter.

Try as a result of the R lead being 12 points and the seat no longer being considered a contest they pulled ad $ to redeploy to close races.

Can't wait once Brett Kavanaugh is confirmed and then the time comes for President Trump to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
