Manchain - yes
Manchain - yes
Sanders - No
Heisan - No
Mukowsko? - No
Senators are trickling in
So the world will wait for Susan Collins at 3 p.m.
Murkowski makes it interesting....
Holland - thumbs down
Hirono - No
Blumenthal - No
The right choice based on evidence and logic. Why not sequestered until tomorrow, so they can't be harassed anymore?
I think Collins will announce at 3pm her vote for “NO” tomorrow. She’s sort of the figure head here amongst the undecideds. That’s the only reason I could see for her to make some big announcement.

Yeah she’s making this a big deal. Why didn’t she just confirm a yes for tomorrow when she confirmed yes for cloture?
Alan
Shahein - No
Karper - No
Okay I'm out of here until later. Bye bye
51 yeas
49 nos
You're a mind reader? It could be anything.
It will be a major bummer if they vote the guy in.
But maybe it will be good to see the exact state of the government.
Bye for now.

Good question.
Surprised that Manchin was a "yes" on this procedural vote. Hard to see him voting "no" later.

It will be a major victory for fair play and consideration of facts.
But maybe it will be good to see people have backbone against the biased media and left mob.
Bye for now.

She's waiting to see what committee McConnell will promise to put her on in 2019. She wants a deal, McConnell needs her vote. She'll vote yes if he sweetens the pot enough.
The rule of law and reason takes the day.
So with the one Senator walking his daughter down the aisle tomorrow.....a Collins NO moves it to 50-49 against....unless they keep the vote open until he returns then we have a 50/50.
A SCOTUS confirmation has never been so partisan. It’s sad as hell.

Yes, what you're seeing is what happens when people vote based on politics and not actual ideals. It's like playing rock paper scissors and trying to throw right after the other person does so you can guarantee a win instead of taking an actual stand.

Easy reason. Vote yes to proceed which forces a definitive end to this sordid mess. No vote delay for the pro-Kava guy who is not there. It would be a 50 no to 49 yes vote and the end of Kavanaugh.
Assuming Murkowski is a NO to confirm (maybe that's a safe assumption?) then I don't really see how they can proceed to vote tomorrow without Daines. That would be assuming Manchin would be a Yes on proceeding and a Yes to confirm. I've said all along I couldn't see Machin being the deciding vote...
I guess we will know with Collins today. I can see some logic for Collins and/or Manchin voting yes procedureally and then no substantively as it least it puts an end to things.
