So why is it when women accuse Weinstein the right assumes he’s guilty? When women accuse Cosby the right assumes he’s guilty? But when women accuse Trump they are making false claims? When women accuse Moore they are making false claims? When women accuse Kavanaugh they are making false claims?

So many assumptions. I didn’t like Clinton, didn’t vote for her. Too much of a crook, too embedded in “the party”. Obama could orate better than any president since Reagan, he talked a good game, but was all “ideas” and lacked the political experience to really manaeuver the cesspool that is Congress.

Kavanaugh shouldn’t be confirmed. JPS has come out against him and former SCOTUS judges are usually pretty quiet. National Council of Churches has come out against him.

Right now this is all politics and has nothing to do with SCOTUS. Why not just drop Kavanaugh and appoint someone else? Someone without so much baggage? I know he’s the patron saint of conservative judges and has been primed since birth to drive the court toward the far far right....even though SCOTUS seems to find a way to center itself as judges shift their leanings over time....but this battle is all about “winning” and nothing about what’s right for the SCOTUS.
