Pre-Nats is not indicative of Atlantic 10s....the race is too big and too good up front.

Maybe the start of A10s this year wont bottleneck to a 2 lane track like the dog and pony show that was Charlotte.
With a 4 Lap course configuration, WILL any Bonnies/URI guys get LAPPED ???? hehehe
Based off of last years results...
First place was 24:01.
Last place was 30:26.
With 4 laps, that is 6 minutes per lap for the first place guy, and 7 minutes and 36 seconds for the last place guy.
6, 12, 18, 24.
7:36, 15:12, 22:48, 30:26.
My guess is no, unless someone has a really bad race and slips back towards that 24 minute mark at 6k. However, if this is a little bit faster than last year up front, we might could see it happen.
Somebody always gets lapped. I remember running out of the woods @ Belmont for the last time as someone was just going in. Thats a good 5-6 mins.
Predictions:
Team Champion- UMass with the upset over La Salle and Dayton
Individual Champion- Chris Lemon
Rookie of the Year- Greg Roeth, but any rookie could win it
Sleeper Team- Xavier, next year with everyone returning and no one redshirting, they'll improve
Pitty Clap Team- St. Bonaventure, please try not to get lapped at A-10s
Is that an upset?
1.Massachusetts
2.La Salle
3.Charlotte
4.Saint Josephs
5.Richmond
6.Duquesne
7.Dayton
8.Temple
9.Xavier
10.Fordham

C/M runner you really have a hardon for Charlotte on the mens side I really can't see them beating SJU or the Explorers with how they have run this season I expect something closer to last years 1pt victory by UMASS, with the Explorers, Hawks, Flyers, and Minutemen all battling it out, with any one of them winning it. Its going to be a year that everyone is sitting at the finish line waiting for them to announce the final scores and who one because you wont be able to tell. its a year that could be decided by a teams 6th or 7th man or the performance of runners from teams that arent really in contention for the title, ie the musketeers, the dukes, 49ers, rams, and the owls all of whom have runners going for the top 15. that said I cant wait.
Im taking Stolar for the win

Charlotte can be up there if Adu Dentamo repeating his performance last year, which will keep them up near the top of the team leaderboard. As I stated, it will be close for the top 4 spots, with me guessing anything within 5 to 10 points separating. And besides, these are predictions. Anything can happen at A10s. I will admit I made wrong predictions if I am nowhere near the actual outcome. How many of you reading this thread will do the same?
