What is that bible verse again? "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
"Bible" should be capitalized.

Aww heck. Does this mean that you, me, Kal, Charles, Benpi, Sgt. Adams, Kyle Ream, and all 50 of your other identities aren't going to do that hard 10-miler on Saturday?
Monon runner aka local marathon

I like the Jazzplayer personality the best. It must have been boring to have to hear about every event in great detail at the war memorial for the coming year, remind me not to hold my event there next year. Just curious, were the army major general and police officer still in uniform at the meeting at the war memorial? I guess I'd be more impressed if you said they have organized a road race before, but all signs point to the contrary. Also, no team in training? maybe these race organizers are just playing extremely dumb to keep them away. Guess there is a silver lining after all.
I'm just curious keep whom away?

Why dont you marathon folks get together and work out your problems. You might just find a way to help each other. I'm so tired of listening to you Old Farts. I smell the gas in my apt.
Listen, I'll show up and get involved in any event that can pay my engagement fee and provide first-class private jet transportation for 2-3 people. I'm a great man and known for my quiet modesty, but I gots to feed my family.
Listen buster your not fit to lick a Generals Feet how dare you smurk a U.S. General. You are either a Communist or a Draft Dodger or related to Indianapolis Marathon either way we will get the word out to our people about you disregard to the military.

Dont mock someone who has paid their dues to our country. Regardless of what marathon side your on. You will make people turn their back on the Indianapolis Marathon with your attitude toward the military.
:
Gen Tommy Franks (Ret.) -
... With unassuming modesty, Tommy Franks, ...
Fee: $75,000, plus first-class expenses for 2-3 to include round trip private jet transportation ...
Shut your trap boy. Who cares about what you think, or your Indianapolis Marathon held in no mans land. Dont you dare speak unkindly about the people in our military.

Are you sure you didn't mean 'and related to the Indianapolis Marathon'? It is sad that our active duty military possess similar spelling and grammar problems to many other folks in this thread with random yahoo and hotmail accounts. anyone have any updates on the logistics of the race? so if they don't get 25k before September does that mean they won't be focusing on the logistics at all?
Westerkamp you guys (dont get it) I have ran your marathon for a few years now. And will probably do so again. That's if you dont put yourself out of business first. Everytime you post about Indy Classic, they pickup the sympathy runner. Those who goes for the underdog. Indy Classic never comments/blogs back to you guys. And makes it appear as you guys constantly attacks them. And that (my friends) is turning people off from running your Indianapolis Marathon held there in Lawrence. While at the Mini Expo people were saying that you guys was saying the Indy Classic was cancelled everyone knew this was not true,it reflected on your character. That was not the smartest thing to say. People were also commenting about this behind your backs. Your friends out there, is saying once the Indy Classic takes place, your out of business. I'm embarassed for you. Your falling right into their marketing strategy trap. I have said this to you before, why dont you guys simply sit down and talk. I took it upon myself to call the Indy Classic to ask them about talking to you guys and the lady told me that they have invited you guys to talk numerous times and you have refused numerous times. Their looking like the Knight in Shinning Armor and your looking like the Bully. I want to see you guys save your race. Please take my advise this time and cool out for awhile. I can guarantee they will try to get you to make some negative statements. (WISEUP)

I.U. You nailed it. Now I'm wondering will the soap opera continue.
Do you think it is not obvious that the last two posts were written by the same person with terrible spelling/grammer/intelligence?
You're a fool.

Man, first I followed this thread out of a kind of morbid curiosity, wondering what a disaster this race would turn into (Not that I wanted it to, but it seemed inevitable). Now I just watch because this is the most fascinating case of Multiple Personality Disorder I have ever seen.
Dont you think it's being done on purpose. Who is running the Indianapolis Marathon. Whoever it is I hope ther're not being paid. If he was coaching a Basketball team he would of been gone. Have the decency to resign.
