Damn that ending was f'ed up! My legs were aching just seeing how fast they were running at the end of the marathon there, and then he slips on the logo and slams his head! I hope he crossed and is alright, that was painful to watch.
I know the paint on the track can be very slick when it's wet sometimes, I don't know why they put things like that when they're not needed. They're needed on the track, but putting the logo at the end, making it more slick was not needed.
He slipped on the mat not the logo, even if he did without that logo it would be just a fun run. LaSalle wants and deserves the name all over the place.

It will not matter if he did or didn't cross the line, could you imagine the race organizers telling him that he didn't win becuase of their mistake? He will be the champ, no questions.

I watched the replay and I'm 95% sure he slipped on the logo. And don't say stupid sh!t like that. They deserve to put an unsafe, slippery logo down? They should be responsible and put down a logo that has some texture to it.

Don't know. No TV report (yet??). The 2 women, Galinia and Adere, are still together. They're passing a Hanson's runner, I believe. Adere looks more relaxed and ready for a big finish. But Galina's tough.

According to Runner's World, there was no sign of Torres at 2:15:50. Tear up his Reebok contract. He's not good enough to get full-time job compensation.
Adere wins in about 20:40. The other girl wasn't too far behind. Curious about Zita, as the finish line still doesn't show her in sight. Adere's in a wheelchair from exhaustion.
