I am not sure where to start in this disaster of a paragraph.
"A lot" is to words.
You're subject and verb do not agree in he 1st sentence.
"But for you grammar nuts" is a sentence fragment and not a sentence. In addition, it is not proper to begin a sentence with a contraction.
There are more, but I can not bear to spend more time on them.
Grammar is so yesterday on the internet. The question is have you heard of the word "Webonics"? Sorry to put you out of a job. Your counselor lead you down the wrong path when you were told to pursue ENGLISH TEACHING as a career. I hear the department of sanitation is hiring for garbage pickup people. Oh that's sanitation engineer.

Spelling and GrammarI am not a person to correct anyone but I do need to tell you in your correction of Charles you state A lOT IS TO WORDS. That would be the number TWO (2) not to but (Two) as in number. Please dont try to correct anyone else you DUMMY. Charles is right Grammar is so yesterday. I know many will say grammar is always in style.WRONG The young people of today converse very well without your grammar bag. And just think 10 to 20 years max. most people will be taught by the computer. You teachers out there better be looking for new careers.

Hmmmm. Sounds to me like the creator of a 5k marathon or a 5k mile run.
Oh, and about this whole "Webonics" thing. You show me what successful business has employees who wrote resumes in "Webonics" and are speaking in "Webonics" and I'll accept your claim. If you'd like to be placed in the category with uneducated middle schoolers, that's your preference.
Marathon Debate--Old News Get A Life. New Debate "Webonics" And the New American Languages. Spanish and Slang if you can speak these languages you must be close to retirement age anyway so it wont matter. From your writings and harping on just one subject you must be a very lonely individual with very few friends except for the one's you try to buy. In reality your sick. And your the one who appears to be blogging in so many different titles. By the way this website was posted on My Space that's why I'm here.

Beth/Charles:
If that was the only mistake you found in "Spelling and grammer's" post I think you are the "dummy" as you put it.
I also suggest you re-read the post and try to figure out if you missed the joke, or if you just missed several other spelling and grammar "mistakes."
All these posts by the same idiot from Indiana does make me wonder if the person defending the Indy Classic Marathon is the person who did the website.
ahahahahahahhaahhahahahah, thanks guys!
I love this site!

I also love gems like this from their website: "You can choose between the full 26.2 marathon, the 13.1 marathon or the 5k marathon".

Incredibly, they've now changed it to something even stupider:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You can choose between the full 26.2 Marathon, the 13.1 Half Marathon or the 5k Mile Run"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That's right! A 5,000 miler!

Who's MySpace page was this website posted on that brought you here presumably about the marathon which you immediately decided was old news? Plus, what exactly is the marathon debate and how is it old news? If it would make you feel better you can simply email me.
According to the Indy Star this morning, Indy has 28,453 hotel rooms. This data is being used for a Superbowl bid. Indy can find room for a marathon with 40,000 participants.....the mini gets 35,000...
Why dont you old FARTS get a life, talk about something new. I am tired of you marathon squabblers.

Well, it doesn't look like they will get 40,000 registrants after all. I checked their site tonight and found this:
"Indy Classic Marathon is pleased to announce that registrations have been going exceptionally well. We have decided once we reach 25,000 registrants we will conclude registrations and focus more on logistics. Thanks to all who have registered up to this point and we wish all well in your training efforts."
25k or bust.

Monon Runner why do you bother posting things about Indy Classic on this website? It is clear these people dont come close to this site. Have you ever gotten a response from them. We was at a meeting with their organization tuesday morning at the War Memorial. Our group was applying for a permit downtown for an event we wanted to hold and they were their. Do you know they have a UNITED STATES (ARMY MAJOR GENERAL) on their staff. If you dont believe me call downtown and ask the commanding general over the war memorial. Also their was someone on their staff that was with a local police agency there. My question to you monon runner is why do you doubt their intentions. Or would you be with the Indianapolis Marathon held in Lawrence your interest must be running scared. We found out at that meeting they have over 10.000 runners that would put your race to shame. Those many runners is a big thing regardless in a first year's event. For you to continue with this stupidity needs to be clarified why? It appears not one person is listening to you. By the way I'm a runner also, besides playing jazz running relaxes me. I want to see a real marathon happen here. Why would'nt you. Your race Indianapols Marathon seems to be stuck in place.
These responses are so weird . . .
NOW they are going to focus on logistics? Does this mean they weren't focusing on them before?
Here is another gem from the very bottom of one of the pages on their website:
"Check out these links for information and facts within the running world.
track-and-field.net
running-world.net
marathon-world.com"
Yep - those are high quality, well known running related websites...

Hey douche - "But" is a conjunction, not a contraction. And it is perfectly acceptable to begin a sentence with a conjunction.
http://www-writing.berkeley.edu/wab/1-1-grammar.htmAlso, "...is a sentence fragment and not a sentence" is redundant.
What is that bible verse again? "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"
I see a mod pulled my profanity-laden post about the race being sponsored by the Tourette Syndrome Association. Sorry for all the swearing. I'm keeping it clean this time.

I complained about your profanity and asked that it be removed. You no longer have my respect. On top of all your swearing you said God's name in Vain. We have no use for you on this site SATAN.
You have a serious problem. The only thing left is for you to start blogging under another name. Because I no longer want to hear from YOU.
