Dolon is the least of the Ivies concern. Given the results there is a lot of yuck to go around...
The good:
1 - Cornell - Clearly the Cornell staff does a great job. These are good teams and a very good program. They scored in every event area. Distances were clearly their greatest weakness.
2 - Princeton - I too was expecting more, especially on the women's end. Decent balance on both ends. Clearly not going to move backwards within the conference.
3 - Brown - Unless she is a disaster in the office, they should take the interim tag off of Eisenrich. She took over a mess left by Lake and produced two very good finishes - particularly on the women's end. Not great balance and quite a few points leaving, but wow, great job.
4 - Columbia Women - A good team, but it's tough to do much with only 2 points in the throws. Should be better in the future.
The mediocre:
5 - Penn - Scored in most event areas, just not much firepower. LIkely not enough to get past third in the near future.
The ugly:
6 - Yale - Not deep, not good. Considering where they could be, they are just bad. Will they keep the staff when Mark Young retires?
7 - Harvard - Somewhere Frank Haggerty is laughing. Not much for Saretsky to hang his hat on after 4 years. Lucky for him, it's Harvard, and no one cares.
8 - Dartmouth - They have got themselves a very good DIII program.
9 - Columbia Men - I think Willy Wood is a great coach, but it is Track AND Field.
