Yo, did anyone see the interview of Zdroik on Flotrack? Seemed like a pretty chill dude. Bumps him up a few notches on my list.
yea he's a cool guy, although im a little upset he gave props out to only the top 4 or 5 teams in the wiac haha. But just so you all know griak course was not very fast at all and i give props to sigl for running away from those kenyans who beat him at olaf two weeks ago. He knew that he had to burn them early and thats what he did. zdroik also has the pre look going, so how could you not like the guy?
anybody notice that sigl and sawe went out for the 1k in like 2:47!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
yep 4:42 at the mile...then of course once sigl broke him he slowed down since he had no one pushing him and of course since the hills probably caught up to him..
Butzler has the best shot at the title. His recent races were such a stroll in the park for him, just wait until he actually puts forth effort. I wouldn't be surprised if he decides to go pro.
who are you melvin...you keep talking butzler up..we all know hes good and definitely a favorite for winning a track title, but come on cross? He's gotten beat by 2 wiac guys 2 races in a row...Plus were not even talking about the other top guys around the nation, kosegei, erichson, nally, etc.

Matt Deshane will be back, will be the first to the mile, and will win
I'm guessing the williamete course was either really fast or really short...
Its fast, lots of pavement. However the rest of the course was quite soggy, but that doesn't equal it out by any means.

Yup, not short (I know quite a few people who have measured it , usually ends up being about 20 meters short, but no big deal on an 8k). The amount of pavement is crazy though. I've never seen a cross course with as much as Willamette has.
You have got to be kidding me. Willamette not short? It is probably 40 sec. (200m or so) short. Erichson ran his last 2 miles in 915. 915! Not a f***ing chance.
wiac runner,
Stephen Dak, one of the guys who Sigl beat at Griak, and who beat Sigl the week before I believe, isn't Kenyan -- he's from the Sudan, and he's lived in the US for quite some time as is evident by his lack of accent in the flotrack interview with him after the race. He went to high school in Iowa, winning last year's XC title by about a minute. I don't know who the other guy is, or where he's from.
